My latest experimental wreath, a mixture of glycerine preserved leaves and dried flowers

A few weeks ago I made this pure rosemary wreath from my garden cuttings. Here is the before and after photo. I have collected the foliage myself and painstakingly preserved every leaf with vegetable glycerine to make it stay in a fresh condition for up to a year! It's taken weeks to complete but I'm very happy with this one. As ever it will be for sale should anyone like it as much as I do ;-)

Don't look him in the eyes! Isn't he ghastly ? He's made of all the dried flowers I have listed on a copper wire wreath frame.

This dried botanical arrangement started out much smaller and got more and more ridiculous as I built him up, but its a fox bursting through. In the final photo I have blurred out the surrounding palm spears to allow you to see the shape of the fox more clearly. You should see his face, two front paws, two back paws and a tail with a pinecone print ribbon at the tip.

Bats are the most beautiful little creatures, so I have made them the main feature of this Halloween dried flower wreath. The bats are made from palm spears, pine cones and cupresses and I've used shades of purple and blue in the dried flowers with black pampas grasses. Theres homegown lavender and mint in there too so this is a fragranced wreath and I'm also considering adding a few drops of essential oils to the eryngiums to make it smell like pumpkin spice!

I've had lots of spare flowers to experiment with recently so apologies for the duplicates but I have taken the opportunity to create various different arrangements. Today I have used my hand made wooden vases (cut from hardboard, hand painted and varnished all by myself). There's a fox, badger, rabbit, hedgehhogs and a squirrel design. These are prototypes so don't pay too much attention to the actual floral arrangement, it's more to show you the containers.

This dried floral door/wall hanging arrangement is made of botanicals that I have collected from my own garden and dried myself over the last few weeks. I'm spritzing it with essential oils so it doubles up as a fragrance pomander. Do you like it ?

I've had to sack the Rosies Garden hogs. Caught them having a skinful, drunk as skunks they were. Fighting and knocking peoples glasses off, gossiping and goading each other. Reg crawling round with eyes like p*ss holes in the snow looking for his specs and some eejit stepped on them, only for some looting hog to pick them up and take them for himself. I can't let them have whisky it turns them violent.

I've just caught this snaggletoothed little blaggard sitting in one of my planters! Nevermind hedgehog he was a hedge swine to make. My hands are spiked to shreds. Hes made from fox sedge grasses and blue spruce cuttings that otherwise would have been headed for the garden waste bin. He is a dried arrangement not suitable for outside.
20% of the proceeds from every hedgehog related item sold goes to Newcastle Hedgehog Rescue.
