Wedding arch
A gentle archway using the existing church gate, adorned with a dominance of loose lush greenery, and a touch of flowers in shades of whites, creams, yellow, pinks and peach as though growing wildly and naturally. Always foam-free mechanics, so this was made with columns of cones filled with water, which means I can use the structure again and again = sustainable. Throwback to last weekend. Seventeen hours, 4.5 cans of hairspray*, bucket-loads of tea.**
Client’s brief: textural feature wall for the reception area. Insert a design abundant in beautiful dried grasses.
Creams, greys, and bronze tones reflect the brand, with the deeper colours at floor level interspersed with fans of sun palms and palm spears. All leading to the focal gold-mirrored sign and above it, lighter, fluffy and cloud-like pampas.

Those busy few days I mentioned...
Creating a luxurious dried floral feature wall at @ringwaydental for @drstephendodd aka the Smile Makeover master (and one half of the nicest couple I know).
- Hundreds of stems made up of five different types of Pampas grasses + Hare’s Tail Grass + Feather grass.
- Plus palm spears and sun palm fans.
- Topped with feathers for extra pizazz.
- All on a foam-free base made of wood and wire.
