Today we are looking back at last Friday when we were at David Lloyd Southend Providing full event production services including Lighting, sound and rigging/staging. For their concert of Walk Like A Man Show.
We provided a fully LED based concert lighting system including Equinox Fusion 260ZR washes, Showtec Phantom 3R hybrids, CHAUVET DJ Q12 LED Slim pars, Elumen8 Virtuoso 2000 LED Fresnels and LED based Crowd blinders from Varytec.

“OH what a night”!!
Yesterday we were absolutely delighted to be able to provide full production services to David Lloyd Southend for their Walk Like A Man Show.
We provided rigging, staging, lighting, sound and technical production crew, for this absolutely incredible event.

We’ve added these compact LED outdoor rated uplights from Prolight Concepts Group. The LEDJ Rapid QB1 HEX, Is an IP rated fixture perfect for uplighting buildings and gardens and everything in between.

We’ve added even more Motorola Solutions Asia Pacific DP4400e’s and DP4801e’s to our radio communications hire stocks.
These digital radios are IP68 rated and boast 32 channels and have a battery life of up to 28 hours. All of this in a small compact UHF handheld device.

We’ve had a busy September so far with numerous site visits for upcoming events, attending PLASA trade show, purchasing new equipment. And helping to promote local events with uplighting packages.

On Saturday we braved the English weather and were on site at a local nature reserve for a private festival. We provided full lighting services and temporary power solutions.

Creating a simple yet effective lighting design.
We also provided a temporary 10Kva power generator to provide power for across the site.

Yesterday we were at the Cliffs Pavilion Southend, working in collaboration with another event production company, to bring to life the venue for the Havens hospice annual charity dinner.
We deployed both sound and lighting control systems and a full range of LED based lighting effects to dramatically enhance the looks of the event.
What a fantastic evening with thousands of pounds being raised for this charity fund !!

We’ve had another day of new kit arriving here at Reliance Events...
We’ve added a Yamaha Pro Audio Europe TIO 1608-D digital stage box and an NY64-D audio interface card for our TF1 series digital mixing desk.
This allows us to utilise Cat5 network connectivity to produce crystal clear sound production for any event. Not only reducing the amount of heavy cables being run around a venue but also allowing for faster setup times.
And finally we’ve added a further 10 meters more of the Equinox pipe and drape set allowing us to transform even more of your venue !!

Our Story
Event planning, with you in mind.
A small company run by two like-minded friends with years of experience in event planning and management.
We provide the all round service whether its from advising on event planning decisions through to providing expert Lighting and sound services for your event. We can be sure to cover all aspects of your event. Take the stress out of event planning and let us arrange some of it for you.
Our staff have years of experience in the events industry and we work closely with other suppliers to ensure we can offer any service that may be bespoke for your event.
We can provide anything from a few small lights to a full DJ or venue setup. This can be setup and operated by our own trained and experienced staff or you can provide your own staff.
Communication is key to coordination and team working. We can hire out anything from two hand-held radios to masses of handheld radios and base sets - for any length of time. No event site is too small, or too large. We can help produce a hire package specific for your requirements to ensure that you have full communication across your site. We can also provide experienced control room staff and manager to ensure the communication for your event runs smoothly.
