Wedding Tip: count your households! You don't need an invitation for every guest and figure out how many houses need invitations before you place an order. You can potentially cut your order in half! Couples only need one invitation, same as families.

Did you know that Ljd cards has been in business since 2008 on eBay. My mind was blown the other day when I realised I have s over 57k in sales on there! So while I’m celebrating my little store growing daily, need to acknowledge just how far I’ve come on eBay as well! Very humbled and privileged to have been a part of so many weddings! Hi everyone,
So with a new year comes new beginnings and the hope for a better future. 2020 was such a hard year for everyone and for my little wedding business it was the hardest. So I see 2021 as a reset, a chance to start a fresh. With that being said I thought I would introduce myself and tell you all a little about myself and the journey that Ljd Cards has been on recently.
So hello everyone, I’m Lucy and I’m the owner of Ljd Cards. Which up until very recently was mainly a wedding stationery business, which I have run since 2008. For as long as I can remember I have loved anything creative, as soon as I could hold a pencil, I was drawing and painting. Always encouraged by my wonderful mom (who I miss more each passing day). It was my mom who pushed me to start my business and was always there to encourage me whenever I had doubts. She gave me the strength and belief that I could do it. So from very humble beginnings (one very simple invite design) I started the journey into weddings. It has been a fantastic journey and I have felt honoured and privileged to make stationery for so many wonderful people and be part of their special day. Losing my mom 18 months ago was beyond devastating and something I will never fully get over. It has taken a long time to get to this point today. When COVID struck last March I was just starting to rebuild the business as I shut it down to care for mom. Like the rest of the world I was prepared for COVID and all the ramifications it would bring. It has essentially brought the wedding industry to its knees. So here we are today with hope for the future with the vaccines coming and the knowledge life will return to a new normal this year. Ljd Cards is going to be expanding and branching out this year into lots of new areas as well as doing all the lovely wedding stationery. A brand new collection of designs will be launched next Friday (8th) so watch this space. If you have got to end of this long post, thank you for reading.
