A new stop for Trainmaster North & East Yorkshire in York! Join us in Acomb for our pop-up play session on Saturday 15th March.

We are so pleased to be adding a new stop to York. Following the success of our sold-out Haxby sessions, we are also coming to play at The Church of the Holy Redeemer in Acomb.

Our PAYG sessions are ideal for ages 18 months - 5/6 years (but all ages welcome). We have a giant train track, a ride on train, Step2 coasters, build your own track and more!

Tickets are £7.75 plus booking fee for one child and one adult. Sibling discount is applied at checkout. Prewalking baby siblings are free. Additional adult tickets are £3.50. Complementary squash and biscuits too!

📣SEND/Quieter Sessions in Knaresborough📣

A parent got in touch yesterday asking if we had any more SEND/Quieter sessions planned for Knaresborough. It’s been a while since I’ve run one here and so it’s tricky to gauge demand.

These sessions run at half capacity and ideal for children who prefer a bit more space to play.

If you’d like to sign up to the waiting list, please do. Once I get a few names on there, I will add the session for booking.

It would be Sunday 6th April, 9-10am.

Something new… 🤩👑👸🏰🚂

I don’t usually bring any wooden track sets to our sessions but I simple couldn’t resist the Brio Disney Princess Castle Train set!

I spotted this set a while ago and thought it would be a nice edition to our sessions but they rarely come up second hand (and it’s a bit pricey new!) so jumped at the chance when I spotted this set!

Trainmaster North & East Yorkshire is back at Osgodby Village Institute near Selby on Saturday 8th February! 🚂

Join us for a 1-hour, train-themed, pop-up play session. We build a giant train track, bring lots of trains, our Step2 coasters, ride on train and other train related toys.

All ages welcome (ideal for 18 months - 5/6 years)

Limited spaces available.

You are more than welcome to book multiple sessions for your little ones - you don’t need to leave between and can carry on playing!

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating a
lovely 4th birthday party. It was so much fun and all the children were so happy to play!

For those looking for a venue near central York I can highly recommend Southlands Methodist Church off Bishopthorpe Road. Such a fantastic space and it even has a few parking spaces which is unusual for venues in the centre!

Our public sessions include York and Tadcaster. Spaces available for both venues.

A bit about us

Trainmaster York is run by mum of 3 girls Katie. Katie has fast become a track building pro and is bringing the train fun across York.

Trainmaster events are fun, relaxed and inclusive. We invite all train fans to join us and we have lots of track, trains, fancy dress, crafts, ride on trains and more to keep the kids busy! We do private parties too so send us a message if you would like us to bring the fun to you!
