Our April visit to Acomb, York now has only limited places available for the 10:30am session - if this one is your preference, early booking advised.

(Our March visit is already fully booked!)

At our 1-hour pop-up play session, we have a giant train track, a ride on train, Step2 coasters, build your own box, superststions and more! All ages are welcome but ideal for 18 months - 6 years.

Spaces are limited so advance booking recommended. Sibling discount automatically applied at checkout. Each ticket includes one adult and one child, additional adult tickets available.

The birthday boy absolutely loved the ride on train (and the Engine Driver’s Hat 🎩).

🚂IMPORTANT DATES FOR YOUR DIARY!🚂

Public Sessions:
Check out our current dates available to book! There will be a few more dates to add but as some of the dates below are already low availability - I thought having them in one place would be handy!

Parties 🥳:
We love to party! All outstanding enquiries will be responded to today. It’s been our busiest year so far for parties which is amazing. We have lots of parties in the diary (which is why there are a few less public sessions than usual), including several for children who LOVED their party so much last year, they want the same again!

Private Groups:
I’ve had a few enquiries from groups of friends / organisations wishing to book but don’t have a birthday. This is absolutely fine! You can still book a ‘party’ even if there isn’t a birthday. Another option includes private sessions after our public dates - this depends on hall availability but are available at a discounted rate. Or of course, you can bulk book tickets to our public sessions and benefit from sibling discount.

SEND Sessions:
We have a SEND session available to book in Knaresborough. Do get in touch if you are interested in SEND sessions at other locations and I will open a wait list to gauge demand.

This weekend has been a busy one, we have had 130 children (and their grown ups!) join us at Trainmaster North & East Yorkshire!

Our next date in Beverley will be announced soon.

Thank you so much to all the children who came to play trains in York today and meet Ranger Mike's Baby Dinosaurs - we hope you had a roar-some time! 🚂

And of course a huge thank you to Ranger Mike for letting us meet his Dino pals - it was so much fun!

We have a few dates coming up in York if you’d like to join us for our pop-up train themed play sessions and currently planning another visit from the dinosaurs for later this year 😁🦖🦕.

A bit about us

Trainmaster York is run by mum of 3 girls Katie. Katie has fast become a track building pro and is bringing the train fun across York.

Trainmaster events are fun, relaxed and inclusive. We invite all train fans to join us and we have lots of track, trains, fancy dress, crafts, ride on trains and more to keep the kids busy! We do private parties too so send us a message if you would like us to bring the fun to you!
