There was a small hiccup on one of the servers this morning - an over zealous backup routine decided to eat up disc space, resulting in the messaging service continually restarting and sending out repeated Membership notification messages. Apologies if that affected your club...
..All is normal now

There have been a few short outages of ClubEvent over the last couple of weeks. We thought we had tracked it down, but it actually turns out to be a bit more sinister in that the servers are being attacked - Denial of Service - leading to 100% CPU usage and therefore apparent loss of service.

The servers haven't been breached, and no there is no possibility of a data breach, but we are working to put measures in place to stop/minimise these attacks.

Unfortunately, that is the nature of running a service on the Internet - people just don't place nice anymore.

I had hoped for a quieter run up to Christmas :-)

ClubEvent v5.76 is now available on the web, and has just been published on the Google Play store.

iPhone version to follow shortly, pending Apple's (extended) review process.

The new version brings the ability to split bookings into individual tickets, an option to send email notifications to Admins/Organiser on ticket bookings and dates are now added to exported ticket information.
