We're outlining the essential steps to planning an effective and memorable corporate event. If you're just starting your planning journey, this checklist will guide you to stay confident, organised, and in control as you navigate your event planning ✨

Define Your Goals and Objectives - This will provide you with a highly defined framework and a clear gauge for measuring success by the conclusion of the event.

Plan Your Budget - Determine how much you're willing to spend on venue, catering, awards, entertainment, etc., and stick to it. It is so easy to get carried away! It then allows you to calculate ticket prices if you are looking to charge attendees.

Select the Right Venue - Select a location that accommodates your expected number of guests comfortably and reflects the tone and prestige of the event. Make sure they are available for your chosen date unless you are flexible – venues get booked up so far in advance. Consider parking, travel links and accessibility for your guests - additional rooms maybe required to accommodate accessibility.

✨ Top Tip ✨ Make sure you get in writing what is provided by the venue and what is not. You don’t want any unexpected additional costs for things like tech, setting up of furniture and co-ordination.

Prepare a Detailed Timeline - Know when everything needs to happen, timing is key.

There are wedding dresses and then there are the wedding dresses of the British royal family 👑

The original influencers, the British royal family have been setting the tone for bridal trends since Queen Victoria chose to wear white on her wedding day back in 1840. Ahead of the busy season, we thought we would share some of our lesser-seen favourite Royal dress choices from the archives ✨

2018 | Princess Beatrice chose sentimentality, wearing her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II's, dress for her wedding. Her bridal look was completed with the striking Queen Mary Diamond Fringe tiara.

2011 | Zara Tindall dazzled in a corseted gown with organza sleeves by designer Stewart Palvin.

1960 | Princess Margaret, keeping things elegant and simple, wore a completely unembellished gown by Royal couturier Norman Hartnell in silk organza, featuring a small train. Her bridal ensemble was complete with the Poltimore tiara, which she had bought for herself at auction.

1893 | Queen Mary's dress was a sight to behold, featuring emblems of the rose, shamrock, and thistle, and embellished with orange blossom. Both dress and train were made from ivory silk satin woven in the East London silk mills.
