We will bring several of our hedgehogs to your party and tell the children all about them as they get to handle them. They will get to stroke, hold and feed our lovely hedgehogs including:
Tiggy 🦔who's a very big and friendly girl that enjoys a cuddle.
Smudge 🦔our cheeky little boy who loves being stroked and running around.
Lady 🦔our cinnamon old Lady who loves to talk and is funny to listen to as she snuffles to you.

All have very unique colours and features and children find them fascinating. A few more of our tribe will visit too like our Albino hedgehog and maybe some suprise little ones.

Hi, Everyone .

For anyone that doesn't know . African Pymy Hedgehogs are a domesticated breed of hedgehogs that are friendly and tame to handle. They aren't yet popular pets and not many people know of them. They do have specific needs and require a lot of love but worth very minute......

They are prickly but only extend their spikes when extremely frightened. My sons have been able to handle them confidently since toddlers and they are amazing to watch. They are known to lick the person holding them and 'annoint' spreading the taste all over their spines. They often fall over doing so and its amusing to watch.

HogSpot visits give everyone a chance to handle a little hedgehog whilst learning a bit about them and our native wild species too. It's fun and informative 🦔🥰

After years of owning hedgehogs, I have decided to share the prickly joy ...

Hogspot is all about hedgehogs and introducing people to them and informing them all about their little world and how they behave etc. You get to see the hedghogs , handle them and enjoy learning about them.

I can adapt to suit you and your preferences including adding craft activities and games.

An average talk is around 45 minutes to an hour and includes an informative talk on wild and pet hedgehogs with demonstrations and handling of my pet Africnan Pygmy Hedghogs. Everyone is welcome to hold or stroke a little hedgehog and yes they aren't as prickly as you think they can be stroked !!

I also sell starter packs for new owners as well as hedgehog food mixes :)

HogSpot can be educations for schools or more fun for birthday parties. We can even adapt to visiting care homes and bringing joy to residents. Everyone gets to see and even hold a hedgehog :)
