The 2024 Pint Size Pool Tour came to its conclusion yesterday and its a big congratulations to Kristian Phillips who is this years champion! Kristian came through a stacked field full of IPA and UP Pro's and top amateurs to beat Daniel Ashley Davy 8-5 in the final. Kristian took home a cool £1330 as well as the trophies and follows in the footsteps of another Welshman Luke Sanges who was the 2023 champion. Big well done to Dan Davy, took home £650 for runner up as well as the glass engraved trophy. Mentions for this years losing semi finalists Richard Gifford and Cory Rees who took home £250 each and our losing quarter finalists Cole Bedford Daniel Bishop, Elliot Combe and Wiltshire's own Steve Smart.

I just want to say a massive thank you to all 64 tour players as well as all the single event entries we have had across the tour. Its been an incredible field this year as well as single event entrants such as Jordan Shepherd & Greg Batten. The standard of player iv been able to attract on just the 2nd year of the tour is beyond what I could have imagined and that's a testament to 147 Sports and the other venues used this year as well as how the tour is run. All players have been a pleasure to deal with, no issues, no drama, no moaning and I hope to have as many as you back as possible for 2025.

A big thank you to all the 2024 venues, their owners and staff for providing us with great facilities for the tour and really looking after myself and Alan on the day of each event. Thank you to Salli Merola at J'S Sports Bar, Nick Hawkins at Supreme Sports Lounge Bristol, Michael Beckett at Kings Sports Bar and to all the 147 ownership as well as Doug Love the previous owner. I will be in touch with some dates for 2025 in due course.

Lastly a huge thank you to Alan Kimber for all his hard work and knowledge behind the scenes at Pint Size Streaming. He is the unsung hero of the stream and I certainly couldn't do it without his tech brain!

The tour will be back for 2025, il be working on some dates in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled!

2024 Champion Kristian Phillips

*****PSP Break Dish Challenge*****

Moving forward I will be incorporating a break
dish challenge as part of my comps. £2 will be added onto the entry fee for any new comps posted, comps already posted will be optional
to enter the challenge on the day of the comp. The first comp for this will be the C Series Final on 28th July where all 32 players will have the option to pay £2 to enter.

- £2 to enter each comp day, future comps posted will have £2 added to entry fees with all players entered into draw
- 1 player each comp is picked out of the hat, if they break dish they win the pot, if they fail to
dish the pot rolls over to the next comp
- Must be a genuine break dish, ball potted off break and table cleared. Any dry or foul break the attempt is over

Iv seen a few other venues doing this and the pots can get up to hundreds and even over a grand so it’s definitely worth doing for a bit of fun and potentially a decent bit of cash in someone’s pocket!

Delighted to say the final amount raised for Prospect Hospice at the Pint Size Pool Festival was £528.70. This has been taken in to Prospect this morning, counted and receipt given. The total amount was made up of raffle sales, donations, 10% rake for charity and my own donation at the end to take it over £500.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets, donated and supported the event, that’s now almost £1200 raised for Prospect in the 2 charity events I have done this year. It’s a fantastic cause and funds are very much needed, there will be another charity event later in the year.

Thanks again everyone
