This gorgeous dog friendly venue is based near Sudbury in Suffolk, not too far from us. We are regularly recommended by them and have chaperoned here a few times now.
Dogs are allowed pretty much everywhere within the venue and grounds but are to be taken home when the wedding breakfast is served. There is plenty of outside space for dogs to have a break and some lovely spots for photos. Staff are always very friendly and helpful and pleased to see a four legged guest 😀

Our next dog friendly venue to feature is this gorgeous intimate venue. We are recommended suppliers at The Compasses and they never fail to make us feel welcome and cared for.
Dogs are allowed pretty much everywhere at the venue and there are some lovely quiet country lanes around for walkies. You could have your dog arrive to greet the guests as they make their way to sit down for the ceremony. Your dog can be a part of the ceremony however you wish and can be a part of your drinks reception. Should your dog need to take 5 there is a quiet cosy corner for them to chill in and plenty of outside space for wees. When it is time to sit down for your meal, that is when your doggy will say good bye and we can take them home or off to your chosen dog friendly accommodation.

This is the next dog friendly venue to feature. These guys recommend us so so much and I love chaperoning there. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are always super excited to see another 4 legged friend.
Dogs are allowed anywhere on the grounds (on lead), and in the barn for ceremonies/ drinks reception. I have walked many down the aisle here for both inside and outside ceremonies and watched lots take part in the confetti walk too.
There is lots of space for walkies, and a few quiet areas should your pooch need a moment to themselves. As they are allowed inside too, weather is never an issue here when making the decision to include your dog.

The first venue to feature is Mulverry House (as I was there yesterday!).
This dog friendly venue boasts a stunning house, marquee, accommodation and grounds.
Dogs are allowed in the lounge area (supervised), ceremony barn, anywhere on the grounds outside and they even have dog friendly accommodation.
The grounds are fabulous for pre wedding walkies with lots of long grass and bushes to sniff, there are also a couple of poo bins dotted around too. Mulberry House is also only around 10 minutes from Hylands Park which is fabulous if your dog wants a longer, more adventurous walk.
Dogs can greet your guests on arrival at the front of the house or on the patio by the garden room / bar. You can have your dog as a part of your outdoor ceremony or within the wedding barn to the right of the main house. They can then get involved in the drinks reception and photos outside on the grounds.
Mulberry House also has dog friendly accommodation, with specific dog friendly rooms. Your dog will find a cosy bed and treats waiting for them inside. Our Silver package is the most popular when we chaperone here.
I cannot fault the staff for their love of dogs and helpfulness.

Please be kind when training your dogs! I wouldn't normally post so much about training but from what I have been watching on a certain TV dog training program I felt the need. There is no reason to be harmful or nasty to dogs when training or ever. It will just cause fear and ruin relationships. Use positive reward training instead which will help build your dogs confidence and get them choosing the right behaviours for the right reason! And most importantly take everything you watch on TV with a pinch of salt!
