Morning

Hope you’re all well.

What a busy busy couple of weeks.
Apologies I’ve not had time to put anything of the last 2 weeks up. Camp was really busy each day and illnesses as home, meant I’ve not had a second to do the updates

I still have to go through all the photos, to make sure names are covered and blank out faces of those not wanting photos up.

Last 2 weeks were a blast though. Lucky to get out most days and the kids had a riot. We had a special guest each day.

It’s trinity this week. Lots of fun and guest through the week. Not as busy as last couple of weeks but still lots of kids coming this week. If you’d like to book a place, please see the link below or contact me directly.

SUMMER CAMPS
WEEK 2
TRINITY SCOUT HALL
WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY

Hi

I hope you’re all well.

Apologies for the lateness of the post. Been a very hectic time 😀

We had our usual fun and games through the week. The sun was out so we were lucky enough to get outside a lot.

Our guests were Beano the Clown. He entertained the kids on Wednesday, for a couple of hours. His comedy routine had the kids laughing away and he had model balloons for everyone.

On Thursday we have a bouncy castle from Stina sparkles. The kids loved it and everyone had a few goes through the day.

Then on Friday Stina Sparkles came along to do face painting. Some amazing looking faces. Thank you very much Stina.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it a great week.

This week we are at Dalmeny. Day 1 went really well. I’ll get pictures and spiel up with day 2 tomorrow.

SUMMER CAMPS
WEEK 2
TRINITY SCOUT HALL
MONDAY AND TUESDAY

Hi

I hope you’re all well.

We moved to trinity this week. On Monday we started the day with our usual introductions and warm up games. We then had a game of what’s the time mr wolf and red river. After snacks, the kids then had some free play. Lots of coulouring in and paper aeroplanes at the art tables. Some interesting ideas at the building tables, including the biggest marble run I’ve seen since I got it.

The sports equipment was well used and we were lucky enough to get outside as well.

In the afternoon, Jack from Pitch Parade paid us a visit with his giant football dart board. The kids were loving his games, until the heavens opened and we had to head in for cover. Thanks very much to Jack who stayed around until the rain stopped and let the kids keep playing until the end of the day.

Tuesday was a busy day. The day started as normal. Lots of masks at the arts table and some great stickle bricks creations.

At the sports side, there were games of basketball, football and even some golf on the go. The sun was shining today, so we got to move the games outdoors eventually as well.

The day ended with a visit from Leigh Milne Magician. He was great fun and the kids loved his cheeky friends and tricks.

A big thanks to everyone who’s come along this week.

Tomorrow we have a visit from Beano the Clown. Thursday we have a bouncy castle and Friday Stina Sparkles is coming along to do face painting.

Day 5 summer camp
Cramond kirk

What a great week. Thanks to everyone who came. Really busy every day and lots of fun was had by everyone, including my staff.

On Friday we played lots of games. The morning started with some fun warm up games. The kids then got to chase Connor and myself around the hall, trying to hit us with the balls. Needless to say, neither Connor nor myself were victorious.

After the snack break, we started the games for prizes. Musical bumps first and then musical statues. The kids were so good we had 5 winners in the first game and 4 in the second.

We then had a team game of bingo. 4 teams and 3 of them winning prizes by being the first to get
A line, the corners and a full card.

After lunch we had a break outside and played in the park. We then headed back in to do some Limbo. Some excellent moves saw various winners across the age ranges.

Our final game was musical chairs. 3 winners from that meant we had only 1 kid who hadn’t managed to win a prize. Luckily he was an expert in rock paper scissors and destroyed Sean to mean everyone had won a prize.

Thanks to everyone who came along today and this week. Its very much appreciated and I hope your kid/s had a good a time as we did.

Tomorrow I’ll be starting at Trinity Scout hall. Guests this week are, football fun, Leigh the magician, Beano the clown, a bouncy castle and Stina Sparkles face painting. It’s busy but some spaces available each day.

SUMMER CAMPS
WEEK 1
Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday

Hope you’re all well.

Been a really busy but fun filled few days at cramond kirk.

We had our usual free play and organised games.

We were also entertained by Leigh the magician, who was accompanied by a few of his furry friends.

Ross from pitch parade came along with his football ring. The kids played some 1 on 1 games with each other and our very own Sam even beat Ross at his own game

A big thanks to Stina sparkles and camp friend, Josh, for providing the bouncy castle. The kids have loved it.

Tomorrow is the final day at cramond for week 1. Still spaces if you’d like to come along. It’s fun games with prizes day.

We are Trinty scout hall next week.

Day 1 summer camp
Cramond kirk

The summer camps got under way today. Lots of fun at the kirk in cramond. We played lots of games, including what’s the time mr wolf, ghostbusters, musical bumps and statues and dodgeball.

The remote controlled cars were popular and I dont think the space hoppers were ever left free for more than 30 seconds 😀

We were lucky to start the camps off with a visit from Stina Sparkles. Some amazing looking faces and tattoos.

The weather stayed nice and so we were able to get outside for a play in the park.

Tomorrow Leigh the magician is coming along. Still a few spaces available, should anyone be looking for something fun to do.

I’m out all summer, from 3rd July to 11th August. The usual places of dalmeny, cramond and trinity

The guest this year include Stina sparkles, beano the clown, Leigh the magician and football skills and tricks, as well as my fun days with prizes.

The usual fun and games, with some new additions, will be on offer as well as plenty of free play, indoors and out.

I provide snacks and juice through the day.

DALMENY EASTER CAMP DAYS 4 and 5

I hope you’re all well.

2 days combined as I was drained last night 😀

Day 4 went really well. We had a visit from Stina Sparkles in the morning, so there were lots of amazing faces on show. We had lots of free play and some organised games, including musical bumps and statues. The masks and scratch art were very popular again and the building bricks and marble runs had some great creations. Paul from my staff finished the day off with a balloon model for everyone.

Day 5 was a more subdued day and I think everyone was happy for it. We had a couple of Easter egg hunts in the morning, as well as some play time both in and outdoors. I’m the afternoon we walked around Dalmeny, doing the Kirk’s scavenger hunt. Everyone loved the walk in the sun, looking for clues and getting rewards for all the finds. We had a play in the play park and then finished off the playing outside with scooters and nerf guns.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the week and myself and my staff had a great time.

Thanks to everyone who came. We will be back in the summer.

EASTER CAMP AT DALMENY DAY 3

Hi

Hope you’re all well.

Easter camp day 3 is done. Again everyone had a great and tiring day.

The usual fun was had both indoors and outdoors. Games, free play and arts, including the colouring masks. The scratch arts were out today as well. They went down a storm. Lots of fun creations.

In the afternoon we had a visit from Leigh Milne the magician. The kids were loving the magic and Leigh brought an array of his wonderfully funny assistants.

Tomorrow a camp favourite will be visiting. Stina Sparkles will be bringing her facepainting fun. The place will be full of amazing faces.

Still have limited spaces on Thursday and a few more spaces on Friday.

EASTER CAMP AT DALMENY DAY 2

Hope you’re all well.

Easter camp day 2 went really well. We got to play outdoors again, as well as the usual free play. The colouring masks made an appearance today and there was lots of multi coloured butterflies, tigers and unicorns on show.

We also had a visit from Beano the clown. He had lots of fun and silliness, plus model balloons for everyone. The kids all seemed to really enjoy it.

Tomorrow Leigh Milne the magician is coming to say hi.

EASTER CAMP AT DALMENY DAY 1

Easter camp started today. Was a busy and fun day. We played lots of games outdoors, had lots of free play both in and outside and finished the day off with some more games, with prizes.

Everyone had a great time and there was a lot of happy but tired faces at the end of the day.

February camp final day

Thank you to everyone who came to the camp last week. It was great fun. With lots going on throughout the week.

It was a play for prizes day at the camp on Thursday. The kids got to have some free play to begin with and then we split into 4 teams. Teams were picking up points on various games, with the tug of war being the last one.

Well done to all who were there, the points were so close in the end, everyone got a prize 😀

We had a great week, the kids seemed to have a great time and I hope the parents got a nice rest

I’ll be back at camps at Easter, until then I’ll have my classes running. (details of both will be on another post)
