Blown away!

Two words “blown away”. From day one, Margaret, Libby and the team did everything they could to make our day as special as possible. You can tell Margaret has a true passion for what she does and is a real expert - we felt completely comfortable placing our trust in her and taking on her suggestions for size and layout etc. We booked quite far in advance and as we approached the big day, our requirements kept changing and our guest list kept growing, but Libby and Margaret were both on hand to help us in increasing the size of the marquee and hiring any extra furniture we needed. During our site visit no question went unanswered and we were able to cover every detail. The set up went without a hitch and was incredibly stress free - I looked out my window one morning and there she was!

The marquee was absolutely perfect. The wooden flooring was gorgeous and it really levelled the whole marquee up. It also had the added bonus of being so much easier to walk on than matting (which was essential when the drinks started flowing!)

The catering tent was surprisingly large but blended in seamlessly.

Absolutely everything was handled for us. A marquee wedding can be a lot of work, but RV Canvas Marquees and DNK Events did everything in their power to make the process as simple as possible. They provided us with a list of recommended suppliers, so a lot of our suppliers (such as our florists, toilets and generators) were already experienced with the marquee which was a great help. Everything in the set up was coordinated so in the week leading up to the wedding there was very little needed from us, which was fab.

We are so glad that we went with RV Canvas Marquees. The marquee was truly special and to have our wedding somewhere so unique and personal to us meant the world.

Round tables 🤍

Having round tables for a wedding can create a more intimate and inclusive atmosphere. Guests can easily engage with one another, fostering conversation and connection.
Additionally, round tables allow for better flow in the space, making it easier for guests to move around and enjoy the festivities. 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️

Beautiful!

Unbelievable marquee! We had a wedding in the garden and the marquee was beautiful. The service was brilliant for start to finish. Any questions were answered quickly. The lads setting up and taking down the marquee were so professional and worked so hard. They gave advice for what we could do with the sides and dance floor to make the most of the marquee and were careful to ensure our gates were closed to ensure the dogs were safe. The marquee was a focal point for our wedding and everyone commented on how beautiful it was.

Margaret, David and the whole team at Ribble Valley Canvas Marquees helped us to create the picture perfect Yorkshire wedding and we couldn’t be more grateful.

From speedy responsiveness throughout the months of planning, to incredible professionalism in speed in setting up a huge marquee in a remote field in the Yorkshire Dales, they helped us build the venue for our dream wedding.

The team coordinated all the infrastructure: the marquee, bar infrastructure, toilets, generator, tables and chairs, lighting, dance floor, stage for the band, a fire pit and so much more.

If you’re looking for a marquee for your wedding, seriously there is no need to look any further.

Incredibly professional team

The team surveyed the site on two seperate occasions to ensure every detail was to be perfect for the wedding day. They provided helpful support regarding layout options. At set up and take down, the team were very professional, polite and very helpful. They ensured everything was safe and left the site tidy and safe for our livestock to return too. I highly recommend Margaret, James and the team.

This beauty is our 12x24m Petal pole for the lovely Billie & Tom last June.

The size allows for plenty of seating, a dance floor, and even a cozy lounge area. It’s a versatile and stunning option for couples looking to create their dream wedding venue. 🎉💍🌸

Review: ‘We needed a bespoke venue for our wedding after most fixed venues came back to us saying they could host our guest numbers, so we looked for a marquee. After meeting Margaret and David at a wedding event in Kendal, the process of putting together a proposal which met our needs was effortless. Everything we asked for was catered for and more, and the list of optional extras really were optional, nothing was forced or sold to us, but each detail we did opt for made a huge difference to our day. We were kept in the loop at all times and had a site visit months ahead of the date to ensure that there were no surprises, everything would fit and logistically there were no blockers. The setup team were amazing and despite the weather conditions, the marquee was ready ahead of schedule for our internal decorating to take place. We also opted for the in-house bar, which was ran brilliantly with plenty of staff all night ensuring nobody went without their favourite drinks. The team also sorted out all of the licensing for drinks and music with the local council, another stress taken care of. We opted for the largest marquee they had available at the time, and even with 215 guests, 230 including evening guests, there was more than enough room for everyone to be seated, enjoy their food, socialise with a drink or two and dance on the dance floor. When I say more than enough, I really mean it - the room felt huge. All in all, we were very well looked after and one of the most stressful elements of organising the wedding (finding the venue) was taken care of with little to no stress.
