Last year we helped a charity close to our heart - the Ted Senior Foundation. The team at TSF work incredibly hard to provide support to anyone struggling with mental health, and they offer bereavement support to those affected by su***de.

The foundation hosts an annual rugby match in Monmouth and we were excited to provide marquee cover for the event, which was used to house the bar and TSF merchandise. It was a hot, sunny day and both teams fought hard, drawing crowds from all over Monmouthshire and much further afield. A great success!

JOB VACANCY
We are looking for new recruits for the 2023 season starting in April. We are an independent marquee company based in Abergavenny, providing marquee cover for weddings, festivals, parties and corporate events across South Wales.
The role will involve all aspects of marquee construction and deconstruction including loading, unloading, on-site logistics and equipment care. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be capable of manual work. Previous experience is not essential as training will be given. To apply for this role, you must be passionate about the quality of your work, organised and operate efficiently within a team.
Successful applicants can expect a competitive salary and the opportunity to advance their skills by learning from our team of experienced marquee foremen in a friendly and safe environment.

When celebrating in the evening and through the night you will require adequate lighting.
Internally, we provide uplights and fairy lights. The uplights sit under each of the marquee poles and shine into the canopy providing excellent lighting, these can be dimmed to create the atmosphere you're looking for. Are you aged between 16-24 and looking for work? We want new recruits to join our very friendly marquee team based in Llanellen, Abergavenny.
Applicants must have good physical strength and a good work attitude. Job role will include assembling marquees, cleaning equipment, manual labour and customer relations. Driving licence and experience with marquees is preferable but not a necessity.
Pay is above minimum wage, will vary depending on age and experience. Hours will vary throughout the season, expect a minimum of 16hrs/week.
