Wowsers where did that week go! A week ago today we had the lovely Jay & Sam’s wedding what a rainy day it was but still such a special and romantic day for our gorgeous couple. They opted for class white and green florals. Bringing a whimsical feel to Westhanger Castle on their special day!
So today is National Daughters day & here is my little lady .symoo She’s only 15 so far too young to get married but she’s started doing a bit of modelling for bridal and make up shoots. I’m so very proud of her. 🥰. Concept & Design

A quiet moment before the ceremony…
Simple bud vases can be so effective with flowers dotted along long tables with pretty lit pillar candles in cylinder vases, and tea lights scattered amongst the decor. 😍
This day had all the emotions 🥺I had the pleasure of spending some of the day witnessing a beautiful ceremony full of love, joy, and gospel singing. I did shed a tear. Be reassured I don’t hang around at weddings unless invited to 🤣but I was also there to repurpose flowers from the ceremony table to the top table, cylinder vases from the aisle, and florals to style the cake table and other areas at the wedding breakfast. I’ll always suggest repurposing if possible. It’s a shame to use the beautiful fresh flowers for a short amount of time, and I’m aware that everyone has a budget; so repurposing is a great option.
Who would have known that this was the windiest wettest day in the uk! Weather warnings to stay at home. But how beautiful is this ceremony inside the warm and cosy old granary. There was so much love and happiness in the room that no one noticed the weather. We had a back up plan, as originally our couple wanted an outside wedding ceremony, but plan b was the indoor ceremony and it turned out beautifully!
I had the most wonderful time planning with T & M last year! Such a pleasure working with them on their wedding styling via and incorporating my floristry. They went for a beautiful classical themed wedding, with luxury white, emerald green and a touch of gold. The most beautiful ceremony took place in the old granary

This springtime arch was set up at the award winning beautiful venue I used sustainable methods of chicken wire, flower pods, moss, and responsibly sourced foraged foliage. I also used jam jars and the Yankee candle jars for the spring flowers! I felt quite smug finally finding the use for my old candle jars! Happy New Year to my lovely followers and new followers. I’m sorry for the radio silence. It was my first time in 24 years of nursing, and 5 years of weddings styling that I was able to take some time off with my family and go away. Now feeling refreshed, (and the children remember who I am 😂), I am back to weddings and floristry! Feeling so excited and so positive for 2024! Who’s with me? 🌷I so love the start of a new year.
