Will the tubers I left in the raised beds be ok? Aside from being sooooo saturated, it seems a family of mice, voles or maybe rats 😐 have set up home in the straw mulch.
Hmm we shall see… good job I ordered a load of new ones for this year anyway. It won’t be long before the tubers are delivered and I can start propagating cuttings 🌱

Reminding myself that abundance is on the way..
Currently there is mud.. but soon there will be flowers.. beautiful flowerbeds buzzing with life and full of scent.. I can’t wait 💕
Every year it feels like a miracle and it never gets old, the excitement of emerging seedlings and the fluttering feeling in my chest when I see the first petals start to open. Magic 💫

It’s a way off yet but I’m so excited to be growing all these beautiful zinnias for the 2025 season. Stunning original seed that I was able to purchase through .proust
So if any of you lovely local florists need peachy, pinky, creamy yellow blush tones for your late summer weddings, I’ve got you covered.

The sweetpea seeds that I soaked and put in damp kitchen roll a couple of days ago, have sprouted and been potted up into root trainers. There will be a little bit of pink but this year I have mostly gone for a mix of lilac, dark blue and white. Can’t wait to see what they look like 💕

Sunny sunflowers 🌻 from C & L’s wedding earlier in the year.
I find it’s rare that people want sunflowers in their wedding arrangements - I for one, love them, they’re such happy blooms and it was fun to get to create with them for a change.

I’m already so excited for 2025 weddings!
I can’t wait to get sowing more seeds for next year!

Here is a seasonal, foam free funeral arrangement. Made with 100% homegrown and foraged materials, in November in the UK.
Beautiful pink chrysanthemums and lisianthus from the tunnel, extra red chrysanthemums from outside, foliage and crabapples and berries asparagus from outside too, even after a couple of frosts.
A special arrangement to end the year on.
