A backwards glance from a late June wedding. So enjoyed doing these flowers at Rossie on the Earn, every stem in this bouquet was grown by me and I loved the combination of roses and those beautiful sea hollies which have such a short flowering season but are always so admired. It always makes a perfect end to working on a wedding when the bride is so appreciative and sends you photos. Thank you so much K.

I loved making this broken arch at the end of June in the barn at near(ish) to Bridge of Earn with Craig who has got such a good eye for these designs. The bride had asked for wild, Scottish with foxgloves, ferns and heather. There were some beautiful roses we both had grown in there too.

Tractor goals. That's not really true at all for me yes I can see the vintage ones are cute and the new ones are very useful but obviously I am more focussed at weddings on the flowers. My normally fairly slow and infrequent social media postings, particularly on here have been even more so this year and so I am putting some more images up here. This one is from the end of May and a wedding where the couple had chosen a walled garden and barn for their wedding and had a change of mind about the ceremony spot iteself. In the end they chose a particular spot just outside the walled garden for that and the backdrop was usefully complimented by the owner of the venue driving his massey ferguson tractor into the backdrop of the arch. What do you think?

This time of year in the cut flower borders is about chopping last year's decaying leaves and the seed heads down. Next job pruning the roses and weeding and mulching the beds. At home seed sowing has started. Despite the weather still feeling like mid winter there is a lot to do.

This was an order for a custmer who asked for a large scale wreath I made up on Monday. As well as the wreath workshops and the wreath kits, I also make wreaths, garlands and table decor to order for Christmas. wreaths

This coming Sunday 10th December is my last scheduled workshop of the year. It's at in the lovely setting of the walled garden glasshouse. I will be bringing a really good selection of foliage and decorations and offer guidance on making the wreath you want to take home. It's suitable for beginners and experienced wreath makers. I will also be offering tea and coffee and cake. I have only two spaces left now. If you've missed it or can't make it, I also sell wreath kits, make wreaths to order and can do workshops for a minimum of 4 people, with dates to suit us all. booking is via event brite (link below) or contact me for more information. 2 years ago today I ran a wreath workshop at Teasses Estate in tbe glasshouse. It was still the pandemic and everyone had to wear masks. I had the greenhouse roof open for ventilation and then it snowed. Everyone made good wreaths despite the cold. I will be back in the glasshouse at Teases this Sunday morning for my last wreath workshop this year. There are limited spaces left but still time to book. It's a beautiful place. I ran the first of 3 workshops at Abbot House yesterday. Everyone who came along said they had enjoyed it. Such a nice group of people and I am hoping to post some of their lovely wreaths on social media. This beauty was made by Susan. She sent me the image on her door this morning, saying she had really enjoyed the workshop. I still have some Abbot House availability tomorrow, 2 places at 10.30 am and limited availaibility to sign up last minute to make one at 1pm. Alternatively you can drop in and make one tomorrow afternoon from a pre made base, made by me. I am calling that one speedy wreaths should take between 15 minutes and 20 minutes. Please message me before 9pm tonight to book a place on any of them.

Take me to the chapel....... A beautiful combination of philadelphus and roses grown in the garden by me (tranquillity, Gertrude Jekyll, Champagne Moment and Margaret merril) in this urn we made for the Falkland Palace Chapel where Zlata and Niall were married yesterday.. Very well deserved congratulations to them.

From Saturday. This was the 3rd date Nicole and Robin had for their wedding because of covid postponing earlier dates. Congratulations both. This is Nicole's bridal boquet. Classic June flowers. Sweet peas, roses, philadelphus, nigella, orlaya and rannuculus. The scent was beautifu so driving it to her was a pleasure as was her reaction when she saw it.

Bridal flowers from last Saturday's wedding at the Den at Culross. Beautiful day to get married. This Saturday i will be in St Andrews with flowers for a wedding but on Sunday i will be at beauriful Teases gardens as part of their wedding open day. You will find me in the walled garden. Just writing that makes me happy.. On Saturday Kelly will be at Teases to chat about Flora Alba wedding flowers.
