Over the last few days, after gaining some valuable feedback, I've implemented some changes to the website www.eventsmedway.co.uk

You should now see...
✅ A clearer homepage of how Events Medway helps you
✅ More photos of previous events ( still more to come)
✅ The About page is up!
✅ And finally ....hopefully....a better sense of what we are all about.

This evening I was at a Black Owned Business Event - next time in Medway please Mayor of Medway 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Joined by Rehoboth Property International The Humble Penny Salon ABV Hair and Beauty Mildred Talabi it was great to be in the space.

I was pretty absorbed so didn't get a video - still a newbie right 🤦🏾‍♀️

But as a business owner - and personally for me, new to the world of entrepreneurs, it was great to hear stories I resonated with and hear advice following experiences only my community would understand...we need more spaces like this especially in the South East.....please stick with me, I know I will provide a space where my community can be themselves, can see their culture represented 365 days a year and can know when they get there they are welcomed and not a minority in the room.

Thank you Laura for coming to the Events Medway business hour on Canva today.

It was the first time hosting this event from the academy of Woodlands but it was a great success.

We were able to create social media posts there and then utilising a number of the Canva attributes.

Looking forward to seeing your new designs on the socials.

Requesting your help!

Can you offer something to a great cause and help with a charities fundraising?

We are looking for items to sell via raffle tickets or produce to sell during the event.

Diversity House has been in Swale for over 16 years and it has contributed to so many lives.

On the 8th March, Diversity House will showcase their additional space dedicated to the empowerment and enhancement of Women and Girls in Kent.

The event will host inspirational local speakers - some of whom have started out at Diversity House's door and today can talk about their journey to the women they have evolved into.
