WEDDING SHOES // These beauties were loved from the start of the day until then end of the night! Have you chosen yours yet?
A few trusted tips to consider:
🤍 HEIGHT - if you’re used to wearing 4 inches then absolutely go for it! Alternatively, a safe height to last the whole day (and night!) is to stay at 3 inches!
🤍 DECOR - if you’ve fallen in love with a pair of shoes with beading or crystals, be mindful that your dress (if it falls below your ankles) make catch on these gorgeous embellishments. Take a small piece of your dress fabric with you when trying on your shoes and run this over the decor. If it catches, you have your answer and if it doesn’t you should be ok on the day!
🤍 SIZING - Do not assume your normal shoe size will be the perfect fit for your wedding shoes. Open toe, or even round, are much less likely to result in sore toes than pointy shoes. Also the time of year may effect the fit of your shoe - if you’ve chosen a glorious summers day to get married your feet may swell with the heat. Head shoe shopping in the afternoon once you’ve been on your feet for a while and you will get a better feel for how the shoes will fit on the day.
🤍 WEAR THEM BEFORE THE DAY // Try to get your shoes in advance, so you can start wearing them in around your home a few weeks before your big day. (There is nothing more glamorous than a tracksuit and sparkly wedding shoes) This will allow you to see if any areas rub and give you a chance to make small amendments
🤍 HAPPY SHOPPING 🤍
