Kompound Mix Sessions is back to lift off the weekend with some good vibes. Streaming live over on twitch and YouTube our mix sessions are all about letting the DJ’s express themselves completely unfiltered. You never know what you’re going to hear during these hours.

This week we got another Manchester favourite and a DJ who’s been out here earning his stripes with some solid residencies over the past couple years in - he’ll be lifting things off from 7pm and our resident doing the bits 8-9pm.

We are kompounduk - a Manchester based online musical platform and creative outlet with a mission to inspire, educate, connect and entertain people through the love of music and visual content.

As well as running our own in-house projects we’ve tried to find ways to tap in and make the most of our space. Especially in a city that is absolutely overflowing with talent and maybe not so many places to express it.

We want to offer high end DJ / Live Stream and Podcasting solutions at an affordable rate whilst providing a hub for creatives to flourish within our community, helping bring their ideas to life where we can. Anything from recording a basic DJ mix to multi streaming a fully produced podcast in a professional environment.

The brand new website is officially online. We are - a Manchester based online musical platform and creative outlet with a mission to inspire, educate, connect and entertain people through the love of music and visual content.

Championing a variety of sounds and priding ourselves on producing a high quality output for artists, creatives and DJ’s within our city and across the UK. Whether that be through live music broadcasts, conversational material such as interviews and podcasts or performance based sessions we promote artistic freedom from our core to the forefront.

Coming off the back of his Wolves in the Park EP that dropped earlier this year with we are eagerly anticipating the new visual drop from Manchester’s very own - teaming up with the guys over at .productions to bring the ‘Casino Royale’ single to life, judging off this preview we’re expecting nothing short of a masterpiece.

Sunday appreciation post. One of our favourite riddims and visuals from the month of July Digga D pays homage to LA’s crip culture with this Suave directed project and it’s nothing short of movie.

Digga touches on street politics including his stint behind bars aswell as the pro’s and cons of hood fame. With M1 on the beat providing that classic piano laced production ‘Woi’ is one of the UK heaters of this summer. If you slept on it go check it out. @ Ladbroke Grove

New signage went up at HQ today and we love it. Shout out to the guys at who done an amazing job for us - we went for a Black Matte Perspex backdrop with the white gloss lettering. Clean and simple but effective.

Happy 21st Birthday to the Woo. Today we celebrate you. A truly amazing artist who broke so many boundaries whilst only showing the world a glimpse of what he was truly capable of. Taken way before his time.

A deluxe edition of the rap stars posthumous album Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon has dropped and it comes with 15 new songs including features from Burna Boy, A Boogie, Jamie Fox, PnB Rock, Gunna & Young Thug. We’ve been truly spoilt. Make sure you go run that up.
