The next few months are busy ones for us and it’s usually when most va’s take a vacation as Scottish schools have closed for their summer break but we’re too busy for holidays with my other businesses so I hope everyone has a lovely summer ❤️

Recently helped out another VA as an Associate and this was my first associate role. It was great to be busy working and exciting that it was a large annual conference. Big learning curve using digital programmes I hadn’t used before but everyday is a school day!! Great feedback too.

Hello, I’m Audrey, I have always enjoyed helping people and organizing events as I have a bubbly, outgoing, caring personality. I spent a huge part of my working life helping others within local government until I lost my job in 2016. I was always organising weddings and parties for family & friends so I started up my wedding business, Happy Ever After, in 2017 and my events business, Audrey’s Events, in 2018. I love organizing weddings and events including dressing events, catering, hosting singles nights, planning conferences and fundraising for charities. Everything was going well until early 2020 when we went into lockdown and the events industry stopped!!! All weddings and events were cancelled or postponed until WHO KNOWS!
During the first lockdown in 2020, I was organizing my own wedding for April 2021 when I came up with the idea of becoming a virtual personal/admin assistant for other businesses. This could be achieved virtually and I could use my years of experience as an admin worker to organize, maintain and streamline other businesses workload therefore saving time for business. However, I still missed organizing events!! When I recently had the opportunity to work with Red Pepper Events, I jumped at the chance and am so excited to be working with Eleanor and the team! Can’t wait for the Events Industry to get back to full steam ahead!!
