As a funeral celebrant and a daughter grieving the loss of the most amazing woman in my life, my mum, who passed away almost 4 years ago, this sentiment rings so true.
Grief changes us from the deepest depths of our soul and it never truly goes away. However, no matter how lost, distraught, heartbroken or bereft we may feel, grief slowly releases its grip. We learn to live with our loss, let go of our pain and find new ways of being without the person we loved so much. A new journey begins and it is how we navigate that journey that matters. Being there for those we love in the here and now, embracing every living breathing moment and remembering how lucky we are to have loved in the first place. Grief is LOVE ❤️❤️❤️
