I have been absolutely blown away by these. Each stem has given us incredibly strong and blousy blooms. I cannot get enough, now you must enjoy them too!

And just like that, it was MY wedding day...

"Are you going to do your own flowers?" That was the main question I was asked, and no, I didn't want to because I wanted the surprise and delight. Boy, did I get that..

I asked Cissy from to create my wedding flowers because I knew three things for sure..

1 - She would seamlessly incorporate some of our own homegrown flowers from to create an incredible seasonal display

2 - I knew that whatever she created would be absolutely spectacular

3 - I trusted her, and the floristry process completely

We cannot thank you enough. My heart is filled with floral joy (ugly crying continues).

Photos by the indomitable - there was no one else to help capture our day ❤️.

Amelia was keen not to have too many "darker" tones. The peachy dahlias and cafe au laits were the perfect combination.

Autumn, bonjour.

An autumnal wreath is always so fun to make. The perfect opportunity to use dried flowers from the growing season.

This wreath had touches of dried hydrangea, sedum and skimmia.

A perfect end to British Flowers Week working locally with Cissy and using sustainable, seasonal flowers to create another floral triumph.

FLOWER FLASH!

To celebrate , a group of growers and florists from around Cambridge snuck into town in the early hours of the morning to create this 'flower flash' for the people of Cambridge to wake up to.

Our beautiful ephemeral floral installation around the Corpus Christi 'Grasshopper Clock' on Kings Parade in central Cambridge aims to raise awareness of sustainability in the floristry industry, the many members of and how incredible locally grown flowers are.

"The Corpus Christi ‘Grasshopper Clock’ felt like the natural backdrop for this floral installation. The window of opportunity for addressing our environmental challenges is narrowing; time is ticking by.

As flower farmers, we are truly connected to the passing of time and the changes in season.

As florists, we are encouraged to cut within the seasons, and our British flowers give us the unique ability to create magic.

This was also the result of like-minded, female creatives coming together to celebrate their industry and share knowledge.

This week marks the start of , where we can unashamedly shout from the rooftops about how incredible our homegrown flowers are.

Our flowers are used by myself (Imogen, The Botanical Alchemist), as well as supplied to many other florists to use in their own magnificent work.

This week is so important for us to raise awareness of British Flowers, support growers, and fellow florists and crucially to show what magic can be created with them.

If you want to find out more, investigate where you can use their interactive map to find the closest grower to you.

Looking forward to creating some botanical alchemy this week. Watch this space..
