We are looking for that special someone who can take the reins and continue to proactively sell weddings and events at Minley Manor with passion and motivation.

Freelance, approx 20 hours per week to cover all new enquiries and support existing wedding bookings. Hybrid working to the needs of the business, with two days on site preferably.

Would suit a wedding planner or venue coordinator with a minimum of 1 years experience of weddings and events.

Hard to believe this beautiful wedding was two months ago. After 7 years of long distance dating they decided never to be apart again ❤️

Attended by so many guests that had travelled from abroad to be part of their beautiful and emotional celebrations.

Farewell // as we say our final goodbye at the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II we reflect on her loyalty and strength through decades of political change and social upheaval.

The figurehead modern Britain was built on and the most travelled Monarch in history.

Her Majesty visited Minley Manor in October 1976 when the Royal School of Military Engineering used the Manor as their brigade headquarters, and later became the Officers Mess in 1990.

We are very appreciative that this truly remarkable woman had a small connection with the history of Minley Manor. May she rest in peace.

August saw us hosting a military church wedding at St Andrews on the estate followed by a beautiful reception in the Orangery. Sunshine appeared through a few rain showers but it was a wonderful day regardless. We wish Olivia & Alex all the happiness together 🥂

Wonderful wedding celebrations for A & R with last minute wet weather change of plan from a ceremony on the Wellingtonia Avenue to the shelter of the Chapel Loggia, but we did it and moved 150 chairs in record time 🤗

UPDATE: June 2021
although we are celebrating the government finally lifting the limit of numbers at weddings, the lockdown roadmap has sadly taken a backward step and full lifting of restrictions will be delayed until at least 19th July

The following guidelines for weddings will apply from 21st June;

~ Masks must still be worn inside unless seated for food and drink

~ The number of attendees will be determined by how many guests the venue can safely accommodate with social distancing. This includes staff and suppliers

~ All food and drink must be served to tables, inside and outside, at venues. In private gardens this is advisory only outside

~ Musicians and DJs are permitted and must follow performing arts guidance generally. Bands must be limited to 6 performers

~ Dancing is only advised against, but dance floors are banned

~ Marquees must have 50% of its walled area open in order for it to be considered ‘outdoors’

~ Private gardens are permitted and must be outdoor only. The exception to this is where someone is seriously ill and not expected to recover, in which case 30 guests can be inside a private dwelling. Otherwise the rule of six or two households applies indoors.

So 2021 has not started quite the way we had hoped, but love will triumph and weddings will return, in some form or another. We can't wait to be hosting weddings again and we very much look forward to welcoming some smaller, intimate weddings in the Spring. Everything is crossed for our couples.

We have plenty of space for social distancing inside and out, and a few prime dates left for 2021. Now taking enquiries for 2022 and 2023 so please do give us a call or drop us an email to see how we can create your perfect day.
