And that’s a wrap for the Rogate Pop up Pub 😢

Such a huge thanks to everyone that has supported me - and that helped me - too many names to mention but I’m so grateful to those that helped behind the bar, the enthusiastic children who helped ice the drinks and put the chairs and tables away, the chalk-boarder, the community alerter, the wonderful suppliers and all of you who came to buy drinks, snacks, ice-creams and food from the vendors.

It has been a fun journey, and such a joy to see the Rogate community filling up the rec.

Here’s to a brilliant summer all round, and to the opening of The White Horse soon, otherwise we’ll have to do another Pop up!!!!

Thank you to everyone who supported the Pop up Pub tonight, it was great to see you all. 👍🙌👐👏🫶

It was special for a few reasons:

1. A chance to raise a toast to a much loved friend of the village and the Pop up, Stephen Taylor. He will be greatly missed but I am so grateful for his enthusiasm and support of the Pop up.

2. We had a visit from local hero and action man, Tom Clowes and his penny farthing. Tom and his friends Woody (who was also at the pub tonight 🙌) and Simon (who was at the Pop up last Friday 🙌) have just finished an epic biking challenge along the Hebridean Way.

3. Rogate School PTA (RSFF) and their delicious BBQ - it’s always the same helpers and they’re awesome. Hope you raised lots of money for the school.

Whatever the weather, the Rogate Pop up Pub will be open on Saturday!

Come and join the fun from 10am in the village hall with delicious home-made cake (free!) and watch the Coronation.

From 4pm there will be children’s games, the ever-popular human fruit machine, the awesome Rogate School PTA BBQ and lots more with last orders at 10pm.

Bring your friends, family, neighbours and an umbrella - time for a fun village gathering! 🥂🕺💃🎊🎉💫🇬🇧🍷👑

The return of the Rogate Pop up Pub is imminent!

We will be opening on Saturday 6th May to celebrate the Coronation - do come and enjoy a fun, village event with the wonderful Rogate Primary School serving up their best burgers and hot dogs. Langhams Brewery have even created a special Coronation Brew which we have reserved a keg of! Lots of fun for all the family. Bring family, friends, neighbours, all welcome!

We will then be opening on various Fridays so be careful to note in your diaries when we will be opening. We are finalising some of our suppliers and food vans and look forward to some fun, sunny afternoons/evenings on the Rec.

If you want to celebrate a birthday or any other occasion then let me know - you can pitch your own gazebo and we can arrange canapés and separate drinks so you won't have to move from your spot!

Our last Pop up will be 7th July and then it will be to the real pub, when The White Horse reopens at some stage in July. Yippee!

Thank you everyone that has supported the Rogate Pop up Pub over the summer. 🙌

We’ve had some great evenings and it’s been brilliant seeing the Rec so busy and kids happily running around.🥳

Big thank you to all my helpers, too many to mention but especially Zoe, Anna, Fi, Sally, Octavia, Bella, Ben, Alix, Nics, Tet, Susie behind the bar; Susi, Brian, Bob, Stephen and M-A, Sarah behind the scenes; our visiting food vans; brilliant local suppliers and all of our wonderful punters! And my boys 💕What a team! 💫

We’re not sure when we’ll next “Pop up”, we’ll try before Christmas but we’ll let you know!
