Here we provided our grand 3+1 Master Shepherd toilet unit, who serviced their 250 guests comfortably for the whole day 🐑 🚻
But guess who was left emptying bins and replenishing the toilet rolls in their bridesmaid dress 🤔?!!

I don’t know if it’s the lack of sleep we’re experiencing working here at Glastonbury, but here’s a soppy post dedicated to our fantastic Nomadic Washroom team 💚!
We honestly have the best bunch of guys & girls working with us currently. The event’s business is a very hard and gruelling sector and during the main season, it is very full on with extremely long hours 😞!
However, with this bunch of amazing people (not forgetting Hannah in the office and Annetta & Sue, our brilliant cleaners), every day just seems manageable! Even on the mostand challenging days, we all stick together and help each other out come what may 🤝
We’re still relatively a small & upcoming business, but we’re starting to make waves in the space and with these guys by our sides, we feel, no scrap that… We will go Forth & Conquer 💪
And obviously a big shoutout to our main man who missed to make the snap, as he was the photographer …. (but you see enough of him!) 😉

We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone in the Nomadic Washrooms journey, our first franchise location is set to open in Colchester on 1 st May 2024! 🎉
This expansion not only signifies our growing footprint, but also our commitment to making luxury toilet and washroom hire more accessible across the South East, serving Essex, Suffolk, and beyond. 🐑
Our Colchester branch will be run by the fabulous guys at Langham Hall Estate, Charlie and Catherine Warburton and Dave Robertson, who we have been working with in the background for 12 months now. 🤝

Had an absolute blast on a little ski get away last week, taking on the Les 3 Vallées in the French Alps 🏔️🇫🇷⛷️
Trying to squeeze in as much time away and with friends before the crazy core summer season starts 😅!
Now normal Washroom life has been restored, with the majority of emails caught up with. Me & Hannah had a good go at them today and will try and get back to everyone over the next few days 💻👍

We’ve been a little quiet on here recently, as we’ve had a pretty hectic, but exciting week 😁
We’ve had two new team members start with us, who we’ll be sure to introduce in time. So, it’s been a busy week of training and showing them the ropes 🚽🚿
Plus, I don’t know if it’s because it’s an even year this year… But the enquiries and bookings keep flying in for wedding, festivals & events. So, 2024 is set to be our busiest yet and we can’t wait to get started 🙌!

About us
Here at Nomadic Washrooms, we specialise in the hire of luxury Shepherds Hut toilet & shower trailers for weddings, events and festivals. Our head office is based just outside Welshpool in Mid Wales but we have a satellite yard in Thame, Oxfordshire and a franchised yard in Colchester, Essex. As such our units are out on hire throughout the UK during a hire season which typically runs from April to October. We are currently expanding the business and there are great prospects for the right candidate to grow with us and take over tor operational side of the Thame Depo from 2024 onwards. The position therefore represents a fantastic opportunity to join the company at an exciting time with great prospects for promotion through the ranks!
Job description
As the Assistant Yard Manager/driver, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Preparing toilet and shower trailers in readiness for periods of hire
· Assisting with the management of the cleaning and driving team
· Emptying and cleansing the trailers sewage tanks on a weekly basis
· Manage the disposal of toilet waste via third party contractors
· Maintaining standards of maintenance and cleanliness throughout all the trailers
· Identifying items of repair as and when they occur and rectifying them in a timely manner
· Assisting with trailer deliveries and on site set up (usually on a Thursday and Friday)
· Carrying out trailer collections and de-rigs (usually on a Sunday and Monday)
· Participating in on-call duties and/or occasional toilet attendant duties with some weekends away
· Maintaining health and safety standards of the staff under your control.

A little reel to sum up an EPIC Bank holiday week/ weekend 💥 The NW team have worked mighty hard the past week, delivering out, servicing and collecting back every single one of our huts, that have been part of some majorly EPIC celebrations 🎉
If you’ve been following us for a while now, you may have guessed that we absolutely LOVE to travel. Whether it be up and down the UK for work, or to as many new countries as we can. As we just both love visiting completely new places, witnessing different cultures, experiencing new adventures and of course trying unfamiliar cuisine 🧭 Hence the name ‘Nomadic’ Washrooms 🌎 When we first started the business, we saw it as a means to allow this more nomadic lifestyle. Where we could work all summer and then travel all winter. However, as the business has a grown a lot bigger than we ever thought possible and continues to do so. Taking time off and especially leaving the country is proving a little harder than it used to. 😓 This year we were meant to travel to S. America, and then it was going to be Africa. However, we luckily managed to grab some time away hiking in Greece, which wasn’t as far flung as we’d initially hoped, but it was a chance to get away and a new terrain neither of us had ventured before, so we jumped at it! 🇬🇷 And wow, we had the best time! Maybe not the most relaxing time spent away, hiking up and down the Peloponnese mountains for 7 days. But we most definitely filled our cups back up, spent some quality time together, experienced new adventures and made memories that’ll last forever ❤️ So to everyone out there with a business, don’t feel guilty to get away and have some you time. You can’t flourish without some down time and doing what you makes you happy! All the emails and enquiries, they’ll still be there when you get back, but you’ll be a lot more clear minded and resilient to take the challenges of working life head on 💪

In 2018 we, Kate and Stu Richards (that's us over there) were planning our wedding and realised that the only thing missing for our perfect rustic wedding theme was a quirky eye catching toilet facility. Instead of settling for a luxury box trailer toilet, we decided to dress up the stable loo's at our venue.... and that was where the idea was born; to offer something similar but in a mobile form for others with big ideas just like us.
