It’s Mother’s Day one week on Sunday! We’ve got a selection of products up on the website, and the shop will be crammed full of indoor plants, outdoor plants, wee bunches of flowers,and bloomin big bunches of flowers too! Another week flown by. If there was any doubt… we have sprung into spring. Here’s one of the bunches we’ve put together with mother’s day in mind. Soft buttercup yellow roses, with the spring anemone, ranunculus, daffs and other lovelies (I’ve snuck in a variety of carnation too… cuff me.)

Well. Is this spring??! Hope so! We’ve have lots of seeds and plant growing gifts in, as well as a real shift in the flowers and plants that are available. Every week another favourite seems to be available! This week we will have plenty spring favourites coming in, fancy tulips, scented stocks, ranunculus and anemones and hopefully we can get Iceland poppies and tuberose again. If you’re in our flower club subscription service we hope your enjoying the tuberose, best smell in the world!

We’ve had a lovely wee time making up spring wreaths today. We’re going to do one or two spring wreath workshops in April, so stay tuned and we’ll pop up dates tomorrow. But these beauties are up in our website under the “flowers” section. These are made with a mixture of dried flowers and fresh foliage which will dry beautifully and fade naturally.

Less than a week to go before it’s Valentine’s Day! Whether it’s a bunch for yourself, a loved one or a pal, we’ll be ready for you! Desperately trying to encourage Dougie to go out delivering in Cupid wings…. So far he’s not showing huge enthusiasm for that idea.

We had a bit of time yesterday to play about with some combinations for Valentine’s Day. So here’s the first one, a classic warm reds and plums and lilac. In this one we’ll have (massive!!) Naomi roses, plum snap dragons, forsythia, hypericum berries, cerise spray rose and lilac. Classic with our wild and woody twist!

Ah. We’re SO HAPPY to be back to it after our January reset. We have loads of glorious tulips in. These are last weeks that I couldn’t resist bringing home (double white) This week we have rococo parrot tulips and double lilac (similar to these white ones) and pale pink. Along with the tulips we have first anenomes, lilac, viburnum snowballs and cut hellebores. What treats!

Merry Christmas! Thank you so much to everyone who’s popped in for something green or flowery this year. We’re so grateful. Today the biggest Thank You has to be for the amazing Ruth, Caroline and Brooke who have put in a massive power of work and have been fantastic craic throughout the madness. Aw such a lovely feeling sitting down after a great weekend of wreath making and seeing lots of smiley faces in the shop. Thank you EVERYONE that came along to our wreath workshops, and who popped into to the shop. We really appreciate it.
