Trigga

It was at the tender age of 5, Trigga started his journey as a performer. Encouraged by his older brothers who were MC's for local sound systems and pirate stations to pick up a microphone, he would imitate them and this early start 2 and a half decades ago were the foundations for this veteran MC's fledgling career.

10 years later and not even old enough to even attend a rave… Trigga was holding down a residency for the legendary Dark House club. He was given the opportunity by a local promoter who had heard Trigga on a pirate station and before long was homing his skills alongside artists such as Bryan Gee, Jumpin Jack Frost, Mampi Swift, Roni Size, Donovan Bad Boy Smith, Dynamite MC & DJ Ron. It was also here that Trigga met MC Bassman & Mc Spyda and the three of them formed the Shadow Demon Coalition.

We can't wait to see DnB veteran Trigga grace the stage for his first show in Newcastle for years and years!

A certified D&B icon,

Originally noticed by D&B legend DJ Hype while producing a few tracks for djss’ Formation Records, Hazard was soon snapped up by the Playaz boss once he realized the young Birmingham-based talent wasn’t under contract. There began a partnership that has rocketed DJ Hazard to the very top of the scene, both in terms of producing revolutionary dancefloor destroying tracks that eager DJs clamour to get their hands on, and his own career as a DJ which has seen him travel the globe, doling out masses of bass-fuelled pain to unsuspecting ravers worldwide.

It's an honor to have such an artist perform at BLNK Events debut show, it's rumored he'll be bringing the dub machine 3000🤷‍♂️

MONRROE.

With support from artists such as Etherwood, S.P.Y, Maduk, LSB, and Hybrid Minds, Monrroe has been making an impact with his instantly recognizable atmospheric, deeply euphoric sound. Through his unique production techniques, he manages to capture a truly organic and human feel that stands out within the heavily electronic genre of Drum and Bass.

Growing up in the remote village of Stanway in the West Country, not only does he sound like one of the locals off of Hot Fuzz, but years spent on-site as a traveler led to him being surrounded by the blissful sounds of 90s jungle and acid house by his mum, who Elijah considers to be a certified junglist – regularly attending shows, listening to his music and encouraging him to play some of the more gully ends of the spectrum.

Back in May MONRROE. graced the scene with his Warsaw EP, which has again continued to prove the versatility and prowess of his work. Showcasing all ends of the drum and bass spectrum from soothing liquid to more heavy sounds.

We're more than excited for the vibes that MONRROE. is going to bring to our debut event on the 17th of September at Digital Newcastle as I'm sure you all are also.🙂

Having quickly elevating himself to staple-of-the-scene status since bursting into the world of drum & bass in 2018, back in April Unglued continued in all his glory by releasing this wavy single on south London-based dance music imprint Hospital Records. ‘Crusty Rolls’ is the amalgamation of old-school jungle and hardcore influences combined with Benny L’s signature tear-out sound and the soul-drenched vocals of Javeon. Since then he has released his debut album 'Interplanetary Radio' this is only but a snippet of the excellence that followed…

We as well as Unglued, can't wait to see your beautiful faces on the 17th of September at the legendary Digital Newcastle.
We're sure this will be one for the books, and we're honoured to have unglued perform at our debut event.
