I love how this job gives me homework!!
I learn from every single couple & every one of those individuals.
This particular day involved two ceremonies : beginning with the cherished tradition in Taiwanese culture, of a tea ceremony.

Soaked in respect, gratitude,& familial harmony.
👨👩👧👦❤️
On this particular day, the warmth within the blending of cultures was a beautiful sight to see and an honoured position to be part of 🙏
Merging two families with support, prosperity, and enduring love in a harmonious union, we began with the offerings of golden necklaces for both the bride & groom.
The ceremony of sweet tea followed, wishing their marriage be as sweet as tea.... & there's no doubt these two have forged that already.
The YingAn served Ed's family, as the groom then served the brides family as a symbol of their commitment to one another. 🍵🍵🍵🍵
Once the sweet tea is enjoyed, the family may place a red envelope into the empty cup. 🟥💌
This offer of blessings may involve well wishes, a gift or heartfelt sentiment, or piece of advice.
This was one hec of an ultimate honour!
I'll never ever ever forget or take this poignant chance for granted.
As one of the bridesmaids translated along with me, I knew this was a chance in a lifetime to keep hold of.
Thank you, Andee and Ed, and both of your lovely families.
We then moved on to the ceremony at The Boatyard .... where Andee (YingAn) went from jaw-dropping lady in red to a beautiful bride!
Ed arrived, all dapper, with the man who stole the show.... doggo Benson! (& his bag of cheese)
& 'he became her lobster' 🦞
(Of course Andees love of Friends sitcom was used to it's best!)
