We’re so excited for everything this year has in store and wanted to say a huge thank you to all our couples, followers, and supporters.

If you’re new here (or it’s been a while), here’s a little re-introduction 👋

The vision behind White Syke Fields.
Charlotte hosts all of our viewings, looks after everything behind the scenes, manages maintenance, and is always working on ways to grow and improve the venue. If you’ve visited us, chances are Charlotte has been the friendly face showing you around 🤍

I manage White Syke Fields Events and Weddings. From the moment you book with us, you come straight to me. I’m with you throughout your entire wedding journey — from planning and timings, to drinks and tastings — right through to your wedding day itself, where I’m there from start to finish.

We’re a small, hands-on team who genuinely care about every couple and every wedding 🤍

Choosing your own Food suppliers is one of easiest way to inject your personality into the day!

When you book at White Syke Fields you get full choice of your suppliers that YOU want to choose. We don’t have a list of people we ask you to use. YOU can choose who you want to!

When Looking at choosing food the question NOT to ask is
“What do people normally have?”
It should be
“What do we actually like eating?”

Not what will please the masses.
Not what you think you should have.
And definitely not a default choice just because it’s traditional.

If you love Mexican — have tacos.
If you want fish and chips — why not?
Pizza in the evening? Perfect. (We have Pizza Project on site serving freshly made stone baked pizzas fresh to your guests if you choose)

We have planned weddings with Korean cuisine (with sake served throughout the meal — it was incredible), Jamaican food, Chinese, Mexican, steak and lobster, and of course fish and chips. And every single one worked because it represented the couple.

When food reflects you, the whole day feels more personal — and guests always remember it.

At White Syke Fields, you’re free to choose the suppliers that feel right for you. If you have an idea, we’ll help you make it work. And if you want recommendations, we have an amazing range of suppliers we trust and love working with.

THE TABLE PLAN
Another question couples often ask me is about table plans.
“Who do people normally sit with?”
“Should we have a top table?”
“Is a sweetheart table okay?”

And my answer is always the same —
it’s not about what people normally do.
It’s about what YOU want to do.

Who do you want to sit with on your wedding day?
Where do you feel happiest?

I think couples can get so caught up in pleasing others — especially older generations — that they forget this day is theirs.

If you want to sit just the two of you and steal a moment together, that’s absolutely fine.
If you want to sit with your friends and make it feel like one big party, do that.
If you want to sit with your parents and closest family and enjoy those treasured moments, that’s perfect too.

There’s no right or wrong — only what feels right for you.
Don’t plan your wedding around everyone else.
Plan it around the day you want to remember 🤍

MJ & Xavier mixed Korean and British traditions to create something truly unforgettable.

They even had two ceremonies — a British ceremony followed by a stunning traditional Korean ceremony before dinner, dressed in the most beautiful hanbok.
It was honestly incredible to host.

Wedding & Event Space Yorkshire

Nestled in part of Buttercrambe’s ancient Saxon woodland, White Syke Fields boasts two beautiful barns to choose from, Exclusively Yours for the day.

For smaller gatherings, workshops & events head to The Piggery with wonderful wooden beams & sliding doors, or for much larger shindigs head to The Wheelhouse with industrial girders, exposed brick and oodles of space to create the perfect party!

or you could of course hire the two together!
