Benton End House and Garden Trust will open for one day as part on 3rd June. Tickets are £5.00 if purchased from Avis’s Newsagents or the Idler Bookshop in Hadleigh High Street prior to the day. Under 14s are free. They are £6.00 on the day from Benton End House or St Mary’s Church. Your ticket gives you access to 21 gardens in and around Hadleigh. The funds raised by Hidden Gardens Hadleigh goes towards Friends of St Mary's Church, who support the fabric of the parish church and Deanery Tower, which are in need of a lot of maintenance and restoration work. In addition to the open garden we are offering five guided tours of Benton End House, advanced booking only, at 11am, 12pm, then 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, at £10 per person. Each tour has a limit of ten people, and will last approximately 40 minutes. To reserve a place please email [email protected] As the property and gardens are unrestored they have limited access - there are no ramps or lifts. Funds raised from the House tours go towards the restoration of Benton End House and Garden. There will be a small selection of items on sale: books about Benton End, Benton Irises, Benton Sweet Peas, a new tote bag, as well as tea, coffee and cakes. Please note there are no parking facilities at Benton End so if you do come by car please park in one of Hadleigh’s car parks. We look forward to seeing you.
