Happy IWD.

I want to spend this day remembering those amazing, incredible women that lost their lives by the hands of those who said they loved them.

The second picture is an extract of a poem by Cristina Torre Cáceres that has become an anthem of the fight for the elimination of violence against women. It says:

“If tomorrow it’s me, if I don’t come back tomorrow, mother, destroy everything.
If it’s my turn tomorrow, I want to be the last.”

I want to celebrate all women today and remember those who are not with us anymore but for whom we’ll fight forever.

The future is female, let’s give all women the future they deserve.

We are always transparent on our sustainability practices and what we do daily to improve our environmental impact, so that our clients can learn to shop sustainably on their wedding day and everyday!

Even though this means going against the industry norm in terms of how many collections we release, how often and how many fabrics we offer, we’re just incredibly grateful to see that our work is still recognised and supported by the industry and our clients!

2. Over 150 members of the wedding industry and community, are speaking out to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Palestine. We call for an end to the occupation and its apartheid system in Palestine. We call for an end to the genocide of its people. We call out the Israeli government’s collective punishment and indiscriminate killing of civilians as war crimes and we demand an end to these war crimes.
3. In an industry which is all about love and connection, silence is directly at odds with our purpose. Let us join together at this crucial point in history to push for humanity, loudly, clearly and with strength in our numbers. Everyone has a part to play. You are not alone, we are here in solidarity, our voices unwavering and united.
4. What follows is a list of the letter’s authors and those signing in solidarity. This makes up pages 4-9 of the carousel. This list can be accessed in the full copy of the open letter - details of how to read this are below.

People always say you shouldn’t be singing your own praises but I’m so in love with this look! 😭 Totally cool but minimal and screams “I don’t give a sh*t, I wear what I want”!!

If I do what I do it’s to tell those brides that feel like the underdog in fashion as they don’t fit any “trendy” aesthetic, that there is space for you and that people with a strong, unique fashion sense are the coolest! Bridal shouldn’t just be a set of rules and trends to follow and If, like me, you’ve also never done well with rules..let’s be friends ❤️‍🔥
