Hard to believe this was a week ago!
A beautiful day at Rockbeare Manor for M&A .
Their ceremony was personal and just as they had imagined- mums shared readings; a ring warming and a hand tying ceremony made this such a joy to be a part of.

I can be flexible ! 🌟

Two photos at the same location with very different weather ! The bride and groom wanted an outdoor ceremony- with that backdrop- why wouldn’t you? So we waited and debated and finally had the dream location for the ceremony!

I only ever book one wedding per day - so I can and am happy to be flexible . This is not true of registrars who often have several ceremonies per day. Something to ponder when you’re planning your very special day.

What a fabulous day we had celebrating Alice and Olly. Nestled in the Devonshire countryside , Holsome Park provided the perfect back drop for this outside festival feel wedding. It was full of joy ; a few tears and tonnes of ❤️ We included readings by family members; a memorial candle lighting and a hand tying- with the cords made by the bride with fabrics from family💖

It was my absolute honour to help create this ceremony with this easy going , fun and creative couple.

Busy busy ! I am starting to into my busy time ! I have met some fantastic couples who have honoured me with their ceremonies - we have planned them together and now I am beginning to write their love stories. Exciting times.⭐️

I love to light a candle - play some of their favourite music and immerse myself in their story writing.

Some days are better than others creatively, but I always believe that their story will shine through!

Happy National Pet Day ! 🌟

Here’s my beloved older guy- who spends many an hour like this whilst I am writing and working . When I take a break and glance down at him, I cannot help but smile. He is the first one to hear my scripts and lets me know when there is still work to be done! He is simply the best❤️🌟

Pets are such an integral part of our families and fill us with love . Why wouldn’t you want yours to be part of the most important day of your life?

Wedding Ready !

What a special special day it was for N&A’s glorious wedding in the Somerset countryside.

Friends and family travelled from across the globe to share in their wondrous day. The ceremony in a stunning orangery bedecked with exquisite fresh flowers was the back drop for their personalised ceremony which included vows written by the bride and groom.

A happier day could not be had!
Thanks to Ellie and to my fellow wedding colleagues who I met on the day- it was lovely meeting and working with you!

I have had the pleasure of chatting to some of my couples this week . It is always so fabulous to hear them getting excited about their ceremony and wanting to explore adding a ritual or two !

Can’t wait to start writing for J&A and making the handfasting ribbons ! This is going to be a truly traditional ceremony but with all the magic a celebrant-led ceremony can add!
