To say I’m bad with technology is a massive understatement. Updating the website is one of my least favourite jobs but this has to happen! 😬

The business has been evolving. Many things have contributed to this evolution… leaving London a few years ago, working in floristry now long enough to know what type of work I’m good at and enjoy the most, making the business profitable, balancing the business with home life… all these things have contributed to me focusing the business on events and workshops.

I love this work and am ambitious for the business in these areas. I now know that working on a larger scale works best for me creatively, I know that I weirdly thrive on the adrenaline/stress of event work 😂, and I know that I much prefer to work as part of a team.

While it’s taken me a while to put this down in writing, the business has been focusing on events and workshops for some time. Now time to formalise it on my website/insta etc!

So stay tuned for a website relaunch in the near future, which will hopefully reflect the true nature of my business and where I see it heading in the future 👊.

Hello, it’s been a while! The fact that I’m only just posting photos of an event that included peonies says how long it’s been 😬.

It’s good to be back after a pause over the summer holidays though. Looking forward to sharing exciting things over the coming weeks and months, making the most of British flowers while they last and heading into the busy Christmas season (yep, I said it 😱).

Last Saturday was a great day.

and I were up at the crack of dawn to install this floral arch

It was perfect weather for us… not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, not wet… and we met loads of people who are passionate about British-grown produce.

This floral arch uses no floral foam. I recently invested in a modular arch from so that I can make sustainable large-scale installations more easily. I love it!

Every stem in this design was British-grown, much of it from within 10 miles of the rally 🙌.

What a couple of days! I had a great time packaging up my favourite flowers, chatting to loads of lovely people and working alongside the awesome team . Thanks so much for having me, Gemma 😘

Those who received our tulips, hope you love them! Keep trimming the stems every few days, change the water, clean the vase and keep them away from direct heat to keep the flowers at their happiest for as long as possible.

🎺📣 Calling all tulip-lovers 📣 🎺

This Mother’s Day I’ve partnered with and to bring you a sweetie shop of British-grown tulips. 🙌

Here’s the scoop…

I will be at The Arc and You For Coffee, on:
Saturday 9th March, 9:00am-5:00pm, and
Sunday 10th March, 9:30am-12:30pm
At 7 Howard Street, Bedford.

I will have 13 varieties of British-grown tulips, none of them ordinary … parrots, doubles, fringes and crowns… 😋

This is a Pick ‘N’ Mix bar of tulips, available by the stem, so there will be something to suit every budget, including cute individual-stem bud vases at pocket-money prices!

You relax in bed, send your people down to The Arc and we’ll sort the rest 👊

It’s My Last Wreath Of The Year! And friends, this one is mine!

Our conifer hedge was looking a bit wild, so its fate was sealed as the main provider for my wreath.

Our front door gets the morning sun and it was practically glowing this morning. I’m quite a fan.

My insta account recently passed 1,000 followers and I felt I should mark it… not because it’s particularly notable in social media terms, but because for a non-viral sensation such as myself this is QUITE the landmark 😂

I’m marking this small personal win with a look back to this suspended wreath and I did for a wedding this summer! Can’t think of a situation where I’d say no to Amaranthus, I love it 😍 .

I’ve been waiting until the dust settled after half term to let you know this cool thing that’s happened. 👀

Josie from and I have decided to team up on events, and I’m so excited about it!

I met Josie in the early days after I moved the business from London. To put it simply, we both love flowers and, more specifically, we both love unusual varieties so we quickly bonded over that!

Since then Josie has been one of my go-to local growers, always providing amazing quality stems 👊. So when she asked me if I wanted to collaborate on events in the future, of course the answer was yes!

Together we provide British-grown flowers in environmentally-conscious floral design for events across the UK. So if you’re starting to think about an event for 2024… parties, weddings, corporate… do get in touch to discuss how we could help. We’d love to chat.

Gather your friends, family or colleagues for an evening of wreath-making and pre-Christmas merriment at The Arc!

I will be teaching my environmentally-friendly wreath-making technique in the seasonal wonderland that is The Arc Bedford. Come and browse the shop with a welcome drink, then join me for a demonstration, tuition and abundant natural ingredients to create your own wreath for this year. Then complete (or start!) your festive shopping in The Arc while catching up with friends over some food and drinks.

£60 per ticket, to include:
* all wreath-making ingredients, tools and tuition;
* a drink on arrival;
* 10% off shopping at The Arc during the event.

Food & drinks available to purchase on the night.

Timings for all workshops: 7:00-7:30pm arrival, wreath-making from 8pm.

Really do love a statement urn arrangement. They give great height and a focal point to the room (bride & groom, a view, an entrance etc).

These were difficult to photograph because the light was behind them, but hopefully these photos capture their drama!

Last week and I created this hanging willow installation over tables for a beautiful wedding in the Cotswolds. Loved the delicate nature of the final result, which allowed the shapes of the willow to play their part.
