Goodbye February and Hello March!

From this weekend wedding season officially kicks off and I can’t bloody wait! 🩷

I excited to get back physically into the weddings. First up this weekend is our inspiration day at and event in a couple of weeks and then the first two weddings of 2024! 💍

📱SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP 📱

I am really excited to be running this course with a lovely group of local businesses, I have a few spaces remaining if anyone would like to join. I am unlikely to run this course again until next year due to wedding season kicking off shortly! It is open to ALL businesses, not just to those in the wedding industry.

I’ve created a 2 hour workshop to support those looking to:

So, do you have 3 months off now if you don’t have a wedding till mid March? 🗯️

Nope, it’s engagement season. It’s a time of chatting to new couples who have just started their planning journey, it’s catching up with this years couples, it’s catching up on all the admin that gets rushed during actual wedding season, it’s attending supplier meetings and it’s planning for the year ahead with and . 💗

It’s also being able to focus on the social media side. I’ve absolutely loved having conversations with small businesses and helping them feel more confident with social media.
With a workshop at the end of the month and another two 1:1 bookings this week the teaching side allows me to bring back a little of the old me. 🤍

Super proud to see so many amazing suppliers in one room last night. We all set out to make our couples have the most incredible days! So to have an evening to celebrate this was just amazing to be part of. 💗

We’ve made some amazing supplier friends it was amazing to see all those we are yet to work with celebrated and especially to see .bros and win was just fantastic!

took highly commended and we just can’t thank our couples enough for the love and support they have shown! and forever grateful for our team. 💗

Here’s to next year maybe should enter and go for best planners in the south west! 🏆🥂

Since the middle of September it’s been all about pumpkins as well as all the wedding socials, I really love taking over 🎃.

It’s a way of spending lush time with Maisie and getting to visit where I used to live more often! (Hopefully we will be back that way one day!) 🎃

Tomorrow is their final day and I’ll be a little sad to hang up the pumpkin fun for another year! 🎃

Out of office is on ✅

Working tomorrow morning but, then I am switching off for some quality time with my family. 💗

Its been a very busy season and it’s not over yet, so I’m off to hopefully recharge for a few days! (With 3 toddlers in tow - I’m sure I will! 😂)

Here’s a reminder that sometimes you have to put your big girl pants on and sign yourself up to something you’ve no idea how to do!

Faced with a wet marquee site and poor access the only way to get all of ’s delivery into the marquee was to drive one of these! No idea what I was doing and with some very delicate cargo on board, luckily everything made it there in one piece!

I now think I should have a gator at every wedding I do! 😂

Which include extra capacity to take on some new accounts and also I’ll be running at least one workshop around social media and marketing for small businesses in the Stroud area! ✨

We can't recommend Holly enough!! Holly was our wedding coordinator for our marquee wedding at Pauntley Court.
She has been amazing from start to finish, guiding us through all of the decision making and helping us navigate through the sometimes stressful world of marquee wedding planning!
On the day Holly was absolutely amazing, she had a solution for any and every problem, and from the time she arrived early on the wedding morning I instantly felt calm and reassured that everything was going to run smoothly - and it really did!

Holly also took some lovely photos and videos which she sent after the day which I am so grateful for. If you want to feel certain that your day will go off without a hitch then definitely get booked in!!

June has been ridiculously busy on a personal note and i am very glad I chose to take a slower start to the year. This meant I could help my little brother get married and I have gained the BEST sister in law. 💞 Other not so happy circumstances has also meant I’ve been able to support my mum who lost her partner to cancer at the end of May. The above makes me so happy that I am my own boss, allowing me to take this slower period and to be there for my family. Something I would not have been able to do if I were still employed. 💞

This weekend is my last weekend off until the middle of August, with only another two more weekends off until October. 😬 But, I am so ready for it!!

Something I heard on the radio this morning… this weekend be a little bit extra kind to those around you and be extra kind to yourself. 💗💗

If your caterers don’t provide a cake knife, napkins and something to serve your cake on then make sure you provide it. 🍰
