Wedding planning and budgeting…

did a survey of 2000 couples, and they found that the average total cost of a UK wedding in 2024 was £20,700 and usually, 5-10% off the overall budget total is to be spent on flowers (so, on average around £1000).

However, you might break your budget down differently. It all depends on your overall wedding budget and what you want to prioritise for your wedding day. You might LOVE flowers and have a dream of a large installation, so your flower budget might be larger. Or you would really love to have that 12 piece brass band, so your flower budget might reduce and contribute more to your entertainment.

I’d say, the best way to get the most out of your flower budget is to have a large statement piece with your personals and smaller table pieces. It makes a lovely balance with the flowers and still makes it feel like your special day.

In this workshop, you will be guided through the steps to create a sectional heart-shaped or circle wreath using a selection of dried flowers that you can treasure for years to come.

You can design the wreath exactly how you’d like and explore the different colours and textures to suit your home so it’ll fit right in when you take it home at the end of the session!

My bouquets are never carbon copies of each other and are uniquely designed for each person with seasonal flowers and foliage taken into consideration too ❤️

This is also why I don't have a set price list for bouquets, buttonholes and other arrangements - just a price guide.

I buy flowers that vary in price massively but are always the best quality for your big day 🌸

I do try and stick to a 'ball park' but it's not always possible depending on any specific requests. The example I often use is: certain garden and premium roses (such as toffee roses) can be £3+ EACH for me to buy (that's before marking up to run a business and
pay for tax) and other flowers can be 70p-£1.50 each.
