Since graduating Glasgow School of Art (a long time ago) I fell out of the habit of drawing and at times even being creative. Realising I was missing that part of my life I decided to make it my mission to get back to drawing. I started drawing my 2 pugs, Nacho & Chilli, and it turns out I love drawing dogs.

And that’s why I started That's Nacho Doodles!

Based in Lanarkshire, Scotland, I am continuing to build my collection of hand drawn digital illustrations to use on a range of giftware and stationary, as well as offering commissions for those who want bespoke portraits of their pets

Super excited to have not one but TWO of our markets highlighted as featured markets in July!

Our markets will receive exposure to over 56k+ social media users AND Pedddle's website visitors which last year received nearly 200k visitors!

If you are a Pedddle member and are trading at either of these markets please make sure that you check in to them so you are visible and receive this exposure too!

Pedddle is a great tool for small owners attending markets as you have your own page dedicated to your business and where you will be trading. Customers can find you easily and you can find the right markets for your business too! Organisers have the same set up where we can be found by both potential makers, existing makers and customers - it's a win win!

We will have another great mix of makers bringing their latest and greatest for you to browse then buy!

It's free to enter, free to park, there is an on site restaurant, it's next to the beach and Royal Troon, it's accessible and has great transport links - we will see you there

Meet , one of our super talented ceramicist who has recently joined our community of independent artisan makers, exhibiting at our markets at Marine Troon and David Livingstone Birthplace

I am a self-taught ceramicist based in the West of Scotland.
I have a background in Interior Design and over the past few years I decided to teach myself a new skill, which I have been incredibly lucky to do, with the help of other highly skilled ceramicists. They have graciously shared their pottery journey and impressive making skills via social media.
Without this generosity I would never have been able to accomplish what I do now. It has been a frustrating and tiring journey at times but also an utter joy to be able to make. I have uncovered a passion within me that I didn’t know existed and my hope is to one day give back to aspiring potters what I have been so incredibly lucky to have access to. In the meantime, I will continue to create and make.

Ultimately clay is just mud, it is nature, combine these elements and beautiful things can be created. The tricky bit is in the middle, learning how to process and transform the mud into something functional and aesthetically pleasing. My journey is only beginning, the learning of this craft is beyond endless.

I hope my work brings joy to whoever owns it.

Join us for our summer artisan market at the brilliant in Blantyre!

It's the end of July so it is sure to be balmy (please bring raincoats...joking not joking) and we have over 30 terrific traders lined up waiting to say hi!

We've got accessories, apothecary, art, candles and home fragrance, ceramics, childrens and adults clothing, crochet, embroidery, flowers and plants, glass art, interior decoration, jewellery, knits, stationery, textiles, wood craft and more

Foodies...we have you covered! There's hand made chocolate, gin, rum, cupcakes, artisan bread and seasoned butters and last but not least, stuffed cookies...phew!

Don't forget that it is free to visit our market, we have stalls both inside the pavilion (where the cafe is located) and outside lining the pathway past Livingstone and the Lion. The car parking is free and the museum is an absolute steal to visit if you haven't already been and if you already have? Go again! The venue is ran as a charity so any support that you are able to give is always greatly appreciated by the team
