Greenhall Country Cafe and Farm Shop will be at our Festive market on Sunday 17th November 11-4 at our lovely new venue

The farm is well known for its Angus and wagyu beef which is born and raised on the farm then used to create delicious products including pies, sausages rolls and fresh cuts for you to create your own gourmet dishes

Greenhall Farm also stock foods from small local businesses including preserves, oils, cheese and much more! Make sure that you pop along to our market and see what delights are on offer!

The super talented, multi award winning wildlife photographer Kirsten Ferguson will be joining us at our Festive Artisan Market at our lovely new venue, David Livingstone Birthplace museum in Blantyre

Kirsten's photographic work focuses on the natural world and observations of animal behaviour. Working with a telephoto lens allows her to capture images of her
subjects, whilst maintaining a respectful distance. The ethics of respect in safeguarding wildlife is extremely important in her creative practice as a wildlife photographer

Kirsten’s work has been featured on BBC Springwatch, BBC Earth, STV and has been showcased by Chris Packham and Nikon. Her work has also been published locally and internationally, including National Geographic and last year Kirsten was a worthy finalist in the British Wildlife Photography Awards

Kirsten’s work is available as matted, mounted prints and also framed prints made to order - make sure that you place your orders in time for Christmas!

Our 2025 Artisan Market dates are LIVE!

If you would like to apply to be a stall holder at our markets, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for small Scottish based businesses who design, create, make and produce their own original goods and produce. If this sounds like you, please apply!

You will first of all need to sign up so that we have all of your details.
To do this:

1. Visit our website wyldethistle.co.uk/apply and select the Eventaly button
2. Complete your Participant Profile. You will only ever need to do this once!
3. Once complete, revisit our apply page and select the market(s) that you are interested in
4. Choose the date(s) that you wish to apply for and submit

It's that easy!

XOXO Designs By Ruth is joining our Festive Market on Sunday 17th November 11-4 and we will be stocking up on our Christmas cards (especially the ones with cats on)!

Ruth designs the cutest cards for all occasions, calendars, giftwrap, enamel pins and keyrings. All designs are original and can be recycled, so send something gorgeous and help to save our planet at the same time!

Find 32 amazing artisan makers on Sunday 17th November 11-4 with their latest seasonal goods and produce. We can help to tick off your christmas shopping list with lots of unique, hand crafted items perfect for friends and family

Our market is both inside and outside but don't worry, you will be undercover when you're outside as our makers will be housed in small gazebos so you can stay sheltered

Entry to our market is free, entry to the acres of stunning winter parkland is free and even the parking is free, so make sure that you save the date and pop in to see us!

We have so many amazing makers joining us at David Livingstone Birthplace museum on Sunday 17th November 11-4 and the fabulous Dapper Alice is no exception!

We are so excited for our first market at our new venue, the fantastic David Livingstone Birthplace museum in Blantyre on Sunday 17th November 11-4

We have lots of fabulous festive makers and producers joining us - it's the perfect chance to do some seasonal shopping and find gorgeous gifts for your friends and family. You will find us located both inside and outside of the pavilion - we've got stalls inside and mini gazebos outside. You won't miss us, we will be the ones covered in twinkling fairy lights!

Browse apothecary, art and prints, candles and home fragrance, ceramics, childrens clothing and accessories, felt, glass, interior decoration, jewellery, knits, photography, stationery, textiles, wool and more

Our producers (including many from the local area and members of the Lanarkshire Larder directory) will be bringing their finest food and drink including artisan butter and fresh pastries, bakes and cakes, butcher, handmade chocolates, delicatessen produce, farm produce, gin, honey, rum and more

We have a permanent jeweller who can adorn your ankles and wrists with pretty chains and trinkets without clasps in a quick and completely painless process so that you can keep your jewellery on all of the time

There is something for everyone so save the date and don't miss out!

When you visit our artisan market don't forget that you can visit the immersive museum and follow Livingstone's fascinating African adventures, viewing many of the incredible artefacts and memorabilia gathered on his expeditions. There is also acres of stunning scenic riverside parkland to explore including nature trails where you might be lucky enough to spot otters, badgers and heron

Entry to our market is free, parking and the grounds are also free and there is a small charge for museum entry which helps to keep the charity operational and remain the wonderful resource that it is

We have amazing artisan makers bringing their seasonal goods and produce to make your Christmas shopping easy! Find fabulous unique items perfect for friends and family - there really is something for everyone!

Our alcohol producers will be out in force and offering a taster or two of gin, rum and craft ale (Marine Troon) and gin, rum, craft ale and tequila (David Livingstone) and we have a pop up food hall at Marine Troon offering a superb selection of festive food essentials!
