👋🏼 long time no post!

It’s definitely taken a little while to get back into the swing of things again but here we are ✨

Myself and my now HUSBAND had the most amazing wedding day & honeymoon!

Catching up with my bride & grooms over the last few weeks have been great and after getting our photos back I couldn’t not share one✨

Wedding season has officially started and I cannot wait to see all of my lovely bride and grooms tie the knot!🎉✨

Now I think it’s safe to say, nearly all couples have at least 1 Pinterest Board which is crammed with colour scheme ideas to styling inspo and everything in between.

What do we think about it? ITS GREAT! As a Wedding Planner we have ENDLESS amounts of ideas/suggestions however I love it when couples have already found there inspiration and want me to make it come to life!✨

SHOUT OUT TO ALL BRIDES✨

Who has found their dream 🤩

One of our lovely Brides (not pictured😆) said YES to their Wedding Dress & we just had to do a little celebratory dance with them✨

Choosing a Wedding Dress can seem a daunting process, all the different styles & materials to choose from! HOWEVER, we always assist our Brides to be excited about the process & trust that within the thousands of dresses, there’s that special one for you! 🤩

Here’s a few tips below we give to our brides when they first go Dress shopping:

- we always recommend taking between 2-4 closest friends/family members with you to your appointment (non covid!!), you will want more than 1/2 opinions however you don’t want too many voices as ultimately it’s down to you!

- take inspiration!! This is so important when dress shopping as knowing what you do and do not like is always a good place to start, even having a list off of the dress shops website of dresses you would like to try on is helpful!

- know your budget before trying dresses on, this is key! There is no point on trying dresses which you know is way out of your budget, what if you fall in love with it girl?!🥺

- take suitable underwear, we know that some brides are wanting a little more support which IS OKAY, do not get embarrassed by bringing your big pants or sucky in pants (as I call them😂) but also, it’s ok if you wear your normal underwear and bra! Just think it through before going to your appointment on what is best for you & suitable for the styles of dresses you will try on

- Lastly, try on different styles, with all your inspiration and research before the appointment we know Brides have a certain image in their head of how they want to look however sometimes, when you put that style of dress on, it doesn’t always match your expectations and that’s ok! Be open to try on different styles as it may surprise you!

Today we are focusing on how to find your florist & making sure they are perfect for you!💫

GET RECOMMENDATIONS
As like any other supplier, recommendations from friends and family can really help you choose! If you’ve been to a Wedding in the past and loved the flowers, ask the couple who they used!

WHATS YOUR FLOWER STYLE
Once you have researched a few Florists and potentially created a shortlist, think about the type of flowers you are wanting and see if the Florists portfolio match to what you are looking for!

CREATE BUDGET
Regardless if you are wanting minimal of flowers or flowers everywhere, set out a budget for how much you are prepared to spend for the day, include all bouquets etc for your Wedding Party as well as any needed for table centrepieces.

SCHEDULE A MEETING
Receiving a quote over email can sometimes not be enough for you to have trust in your Florist so setting a meeting up can ease your mind and confirm to yourself that they understand your vision. They can also provide tips on certain flowers & what goes with what!
