What an absolutely fabulous night in the caves tonight for Comedy in the Caves. After initially slow ticket sales, we considered cancelling this gig, but the late sales and walk ins ended up packing the cave to the rafters, requiring us to repeatedly put more chairs out.

Expertly MC'd by .selwood , brilliantly opened by , superbly middled my and closed my the simply incomparable , this was a very special night indeed.

Thank you to all the acts, the wonderful staff at the Whistle and Flute and the superb audience we had tonight. It just wouldn't be the same without you 😁

Kicking off the laughter riot is the sensational Alexis Roy, one of the fastest rising stars of the comedy circuit.

Another night, another belter. This time we were at the Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton, where , , and put on a fantastic show for the fabulous crowd.

Thank you to everyone involved in putting this gig together, especially Barry, who MC'd and ran the night for me, as I couldn't make it, the brilliant acts, the lovely audience, Denzil Ede fort then photos and the fantastic volunteer staff at the Duchess, without whom none of this could happen. What a night we had for our final three shows at the yesterday.

In an absolutely packed room, the night was kicked off by a surprise performance by Nuala Ryan, who was the unexpected warm up act for Hussein Ali and Alex Krekan. A trio of brilliant comedians, who all went down really well with the audience.

Next up it was the best named show in the festival, Only Fans and Horses, by and , which was absolutely brilliant. I shall never forget the sight of that gorilla 😂

Finally, and gave us their Feral and Fearless show, including stories of swingers clubs, s*x shops and gay dating app investigations. Saucy and wonderful stuff from the start.

So that's it from us for the Nottingham Comedy Festival. We're off back to Scotland to get some well earned sleep after a frantic 8 days of setting up, running and then taking down 7 gigs in various locations around Nottinghamshire.

Thanks as always go to our lovely venues for continuing to support us and to our fabulous audiences for making the effort to attend our gigs and make them so special for the acts.
