Hey folks! It's that time of year again when we can all do our bit to help our Children and Staff at St Edward's College Friends of St Edward's College by buying our annual tickets for the FOSEC Winter Ball. A fun way to get involved with school life...

Over the past few months, the FOSEC members have been meeting and planning to bring to you another fabulous annual Winter Ball.
We are very proud to have not raised our ticket prices and have in fact lowered them to a pre COVID rate… However, a quality evening you can be sure of and don’t forget we are a registered Charity and profits generated go back into the school for our children to enjoy.
A Winter Ball you ask? In school you say? In the canteen? Well, Yes we say! Wait till you see it… All spruced up and ready to greet you in your finery.

You might be thinking – “what can I expect”? “I don’t know anyone”! “Do we have to buy a table or can we come as a couple”? Well let me tell you a bit more…

Firstly, the tickets are £27.50 – available from the link below. Saturday 25 November 7pm. We have a wonderful bar staffed by FOSEC volunteers – with all your favourite beers, wines and spirits (branded) – but we guarantee you won’t be paying hiked up prices. The evening will start in the College Hall where you can meet our guests and chat whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles and listen to some wonderful music. Then we will move into the dining room and enjoy a 3-course meal (Please be sure to let us know about allergies when booking tickets).

Once the meal is cleared there will be plenty of time for mingling and chatting and of course dancing. If you are feeling a little peckish as the evening progresses, we will be offering a selection of cheese and biscuits and a nice festive glass of port. There will also be a raffle with some lovely prizes. If you would like to donate to the raffle, contact FOSEC. When you click on the link to buy tickets – there is a comments box… please use this to tell us if you are wanting to sit with particular people if not all booking together.
Tables seat 8-10 people – so even if you are coming as a couple we will try and sit you with people you know– eg if your child is in a choir or rugby or just in Year 7/8 etc. Lovely way to meet other parents of children in the school.

Please come along and join us celebrate the festive period in the knowledge that your children will benefit from the funds we raise at these events. Thank you for all your support over the years and we look forward to seeing you there!

FOSEC are delighted to invite you to join us for an evening of festive food, fabulous games and dancing until midnight at our Winter ball which will be held on Saturday 25 November 2023 in the College Refectory. This is a lovely way to start the festive season with family and friends! 🎄❄️

The evening will start with drinks reception and festive music in College Hall at 7pm with dining at 7:30pm. This is your chance to dress to impress in black tie, cocktail dresses or keep it relaxed with lounge suits and sparkles! 🤵💃

FOSEC are delighted to invite your family, and your friends to the first event of this academic year on 13 October 2023, 19.30 in the College Refectory.

The event features live 70s and 80s music, a retro themed buffet and a very reasonably priced, fully stocked bar. As this is a licensed event, it is over 18s only.

Tickets are priced at £10 per person. Tickets are sold on a first come and first served basis, don’t miss out!
