I canโt actually believe Iโm still doing this two years later - and still absolutely loving every moment of it it!
The reason I started this was because back in 2019 I decided I didnโt want a baby shower because I wanted a welcome to the world party, then I had my daughter Dolly end of January 2020, then 8 weeks later lockdown hit so I had to say goodbye to a welcome to the world party! Then Dollyโs first birthday was approaching shock horror we had another lockdown and we actually came down with the dreaded C word. Then shortly after the world started to return to โnormalโ so I decided I was going to throw Dolly and โ18 monthโ party! To make up for the 3 partyโs I missed! I couldnโt actually find any balloon artists available and able to do what I wanted for the day which is when I thought why not do it yourself ๐ itโs took me HOURS AND HOURS! I had blistered fingers, swollen hands but I created what I wanted for her party! And I thought that was the end of my creation - then for everyone asking me โwho did the balloons for Dollyโs party?โ โYou should start doing thisโ thatโs when Up in the Clouds was born โ๏ธ๐
I slowly but surely learnt new techniques which saved my hands *thank god* - I built up a client base! A lot of fails but so many more successes! I generally love doing balloons - whether it be a single helium balloons to a set up with everything. They all mean so much to me! I always put my whole into every order I have as itโs my name at the end of the day! My reputationโ๏ธ๐
