Look who’s keeping a watchful eye! 👀 Meet Freddy the Therizinosaurus and little Birdie! Freddy’s showing off those impressive claws, and let’s just say, they’re not just for show. 😉 Fun fact: Therizinosaurus had some of the longest claws of any dinosaur, reaching up to three feet long! 😲

🦐 Prehistoric Creature of the Day: Marella
Pronounced: muh-RELL-ah
Nickname: The Zigzag Shrimp Thing
📅 Time Period: Cambrian (around 520 million years ago!)
🌍 Found in: Canada (Burgess Shale)
Marella looked like a cross between a shrimp and a futuristic comb… with flappy paddles for swimming and a weird head shield that looked like someone folded origami out of a Pringle. It had long spiky head spines and fringe-like legs underneath that it used to scuttle along the sea floor in style.
🦠 Size: About the length of your little finger (2cm) tiny, but mighty strange.
🍽️ Diet: Probably scavenged whatever goo it could find in the ancient sea muck.
🔍 Unique Fact: It’s one of the most common fossils found in the Burgess Shale but that doesn’t make it any less weird. In fact, its wacky body plan helped scientists realise how strange early life really was!
🎉 Why it’s Awesome: It has no modern relatives. None. Zilch. It was doing its own thing, vibing in the Cambrian before anything else knew what legs were.

Dinomania: Rivals of the Jurassic is an experience like no other. You’ll get to meet the stars of the show, including Allosaurus “Little Al” and Ronnie the T-Rex. You’ll even get to pet some of the cutest Baby dinosaurs as the Rangers bring them into the crowd.

That’s day 4 of the Glastonbury Festivals 2025 and that’s a wrap.
It’s been so much fun and so lovely being at the Kidzfield for another year.
Gerald the chicken aka as the chicken on a stick made so many young friends.
The Rangers battled the heat and brought smiles to so so many festival goers.
Nancy the raptor, Freddie the therizinosaurus, Sharon the ceratosaurus and all the baby dinosaurs all brought the roar to the field
We really hope to return in 2027 after the Fallow year to do it all again

Day 3 at Glastonbury 2025 was stunning. The weather was lovely but very hot and the atmosphere as always was fantastic. A day of happy faces and laughter. We are getting ready for our final day and can’t wait.

Day 2 of Glastonbury Festivals at the Kidzfield complete and another amazing day. Again the vibe is like nothing else on earth and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow. We also managed to head into the main festival stages for some well deserved downtime.

Officially day one ofGlastonbury 2025 was so busy and full of smiles and sunshine. The Kidzfield exploded with colour and the atmosphere was beautiful. Such a magical place to perform and we can’t wait for day 2.
