When you are planning your wedding it can feel a little overwhelming at times. Deciding if you are looking for a religious or non religious ceremony is one consideration and then how do you choose your Celebrant and what happens next?
I always offer a no obligation chat either in person or via video call. This is essential for you to see if we are a good fit. If you decide to book with me then we meet around 3 months before your big day and start to create your ceremony. I love hearing your journey story and ideas you have for your ceremony. I am also there to guide you on different elements you could include, legal paperwork reminders and timescales.
I create a first draft of your ceremony and we amend where needed until it feels right, with open communication throughout. It’s so special experiencing your story come to life on your wedding day ❤️.
🎉 We're thrilled to announce that we've reached 2,000+ Trustpilot reviews!🌟 Thank you to all our amazing couples and families for your trust and support.

The Scottish Celebrant: Paul Browett Humanist
Conducted an interment of ashes ceremony today at Eastern Cemetery, Arbroath of a couple who had a life well lived. Lovely send off by immediate family.
❤ Unity Through Rituals - Persian Sugar Rubbing ❤
Humanist wedding ceremonies promote inclusivity and diversity across different cultures and traditions. No better example of this than Alex and Eliza's Persian Sugar Rubbing ritual performed during their ceremony at Cambo Country House and conducted by our Humanist Weddings by Fuze Ceremonies Celebrant Houston Celebrant July 2023.
Ceremony Extract:
"We have already witnessed Alex and Eliza tie the knot in the shape of the St Andrews Cross, Scottish saltire. But Scotland only represents half of this
wonderful partnership. So now, in special recognition of Eliza’s Iranian
heritage, we will have traditional Persian Sugar Rubbing ritual.
Alex and Eliza will now take a seat. And I would like to ask some very special
ladies in Eliza’s life – her maid of honour Jenny and her sister Zena - to step
forward to spread a cloth of unity over the bride and groom.
And two more very special ladies – mums Yvonne and Zahra - will shortly rub
sugar on to the cloth over Alex and Eliza and in doing so they are spreading
sweetness into our happy couple’s life and marriage.
Alex and Eliza, there are two sugar cones. One represents you, Eliza, and the
other one represents you, Alex. May every contact between you result in
sweetness, and may that sweetness continue to accompany you both through your many happy years of married life together!" - Simon Houston, Fuze Celebrant
