We are hitting pause on YOM!s usual lunch delivery from Friday, 20th October while we look for a new home. We will be back! 🖤Sunday Morning Breakfast?🖤 Banana Overnight Oats with Tahini ‘Toffee’ Worth the 10 mins the night before to wake up to this beaut! Mashed banana and oats with a spoonful of flax for fibre and some cinnamon and vanilla essence for taste. Add your favourite nut milk and leave for at least a couple of hours til the oats have sucked up the milk. For the tahini toffee add a tablespoon of almond milk, a teaspoon of tahini and a teaspoon of maple syrup and heat in a pan til you get a toffee like consistency (also fit on ice cream and yoghurt) Top your oats with more banana, some seeds and your toffee. 🖤Don’t cry over your chopped onions🖤 Hmmm not sure if this is going to be a massive revelation or just the best kept secret that I didn’t discover until I was nearly 50… I am clearly not a trained chef but have had to up my game on knive skills mostly in the interests of not chopping off a digit and working faster. Did you know that when you are peeling your onions to leave the root bit on the end as an ‘anchor’ point when chopping or slicing. Soooooo much easier. Give it a squeeze, there should be a little of give but the skin should not feel detached from the flesh Check the nobbly bit at the end.
