We have been back indoors for the last couple of weeks providing lighting design and operation.

It’s been a long time in the planning but R-Fest 2022 is done and dusted!

Working with The Events Company UK & Production-box we provided event safety and event control services for 4 days of punk on Blackpool Tower Festival Headland.

As always this was a huge team effort working with amazing suppliers to keep everyone safe from the beginning of build to the end of break.

Huge thanks to everyone and see you on the seafront to do it all again in 2023

We’ve been working with LCR for a while providing their vendor health & safety paperwork.

Safe to say this one is a little bit special.

Over the past several months we have been doing something a little different!

Working with our colleagues at Cuffe & Taylor we have provided consultancy and management services for a civil engineering project to level and regrade the Lytham Festival site. We have worked with several consultants and contractors to advance this project from concept, through planning permission to delivery which is now taking place. This makes the site more workable during the festival whilst returning the green to its historic state and making it accessible to all, all year around.

This is the 2nd large scale project to improve the site for both the festival and the public during the wider year. Previously we have worked to install fibre optic internet to the site with underground fibre distribution for the festival and free public WiFi all year round.

We have worked with Lytham Christmas for many years providing Safety Services for the annual Christmas Lights Switch On in Clifton Square. This year we provided the Event Operations Manual, Site Plans and we were even there to Stage Manage on the day.

It’s been a weekend of firsts for the Event Studio

We provided Production & Stage Management for Electric Youth: Theatre Company at their inaugural show ⚡️42 amazing young people between the ages of 6 and 16 took to the stage at Lowther Pavilion Lytham to showcase their talent in a show that had been postponed 3 times due to coronavirus 🦠 and was put together at breakneck speed in only 8 weeks.

Just down the road at Winter Gardens Blackpool was the inaugural Rock On! Variety Show in memory of Bobby Ball raising money for 2 local charities (Including Lowther Pavilion where Electric Youth were performing). We provided production safety paperwork and Children in Performance Safeguarding services (including licence applications) for the Bobby Ball Foundation.

Festivals are well and truly back. This weekend we are up at Highest Point Festival in Lancaster providing Event Control Services for their multi stage site at Williamson Park.
