It always brings me so much joy when my couples give me the nod that I’m all good to share my pics of their wedding flowers 🖤 This time I’m showcasing…mine 🥹

When I work with my couples they always apologise for not having one singular vision in mind, or for coming to me with a range of totally different ideas to try and blend into one 🤍 But it’s our jobs as florists to get to know you, go on that journey with you, ask the right questions and devise a design that brings it all together 👏🏻

I’m exactly the same as my couples!! I didn’t have one singular word to describe what I wanted to create or what my theme / vibe was - it was like 10 different things 😅 I hope you’ll all agree that I hit my own ‘monochrome-y, modern gothic-y, but also kind of old movie classic-y, and if Wednesday Addams asked you to make her a bouquet, but also kind of if Jack & Sally got married’ brief? 😂🫠🖤🐈‍⬛🙌🏻

For short let’s call it ‘modern gothic garden’ 🦇

Hello 👋🏻 I’ve been a little bit quiet on here for a while but I’m back and so ready to dive into my 2024 weddings!!

The first wedding of the year was actually…mine! We got married in Sydney earlier in the month and enjoyed a lovely honeymoon in Australia 🇦🇺 Yesterday we had our home wedding party - thank you to all who came and celebrated with us 🥹

And as if January couldn’t be anymore exciting, my niece was born just nine days ago 👶🏻 She doesn’t know it yet but she’s going to be my little flowery apprentice 🥰🌸

After an unforgettable start to 2024 I now get to turn my attention to my amazing wedding couples booked in with me this year 🎉 Exciting times!! Let’s go!! 🙌🏻

Every year I like to come up with a new arrangement for Easter and I’m so excited to be revealing the 2023 design 🐰🥕 2021 was earthy and green, 2022 was blue and purple, and this year is…

Pink, white and green! 🌸🤍🌷🌿💕 This arrangement is set in a bunny print basket with lots of seasonal blooms and lush foliage 🤩

So we thought we’d be cute and get Manager Marie to tell you something impawtant 🐈‍⬛ We didn’t quite get the perfect shot (big surprise 😂) but we did get some amazing outtakes - enjoy 😅

The news is…Nick and I are getting married! 🤍 A year today on the 27th January 2024 we will be celebrating with our lovely friends and family 🖤

You may have seen Nick on my Instagram stories and at some of my events 🤍 He’s an honorary member of The Raven Rose team and is always there with support and snacks for those long days 🖤 I’m so lucky to have him in my life and I can’t wait to be able to call him my husband 🤍

I know what you’re all thinking - am I going to do my own flowers??… of course! I can’t wait to get designing! 🥹🥰🤩☺️

For Isabel & Jonny 💛 12.11.22 🎉 I & J decided on all dried flowers for their autumnal wedding at East Riddlesden Hall ⭐️ Neutral tones were used throughout, and Isabel had a few dusky green, golden and burnt orange stems in her bouquet 🌾

I’ll bring all the materials and tools you need to make your own wreath, meaning you don’t need to source a thing 🎁 Sessions start with a demonstration and I’ll be on hand to help you the entire way through ❤️
