I’m Eve, the Nature Wellbeing Coordinator at Cornwall Wildlife Trust. I’ve always been a nature lover and after studying BSc Zoology and MSc Conservation and Biodiversity at the University of Exeter, I was keen to stay in this beautiful part of the world and contribute to its wildlife and community.
🦡
My role is all about encouraging people to get outside and experience the benefits that nature has on our physical and mental health. A great way to help people connect to nature is through creativity, so I’m really excited to be a part of the Drawn to Wildlife event!

Elizabeth Ormian: Hi! I'm a third-year illustration student, and though much of my work is inspired by the natural world, I have a particular love for birds, and find any excuse to include them in my work, whether as part of an album cover or on the spine of a book.

Amy Almeida: My practice is currently focused on exploring the natural world and how I personally interpret it. Through the act of sitting and observing nature I paint saturated landscapes hoping to encourage my audience to find a lively and new view of the natural world.

I’m Bonnie Steward, aged 23 and based in West Cornwall. My work is created from plastics/waste materials that I collect on my beach cleans. This is easy when beach waste is abundant and when you live next to the coast in Cornwall. Each of my pieces takes months of layering, it’s a process that involves patience, meticulousness, and love for the work I create. I aim to capture the beauty of wildlife and sea/landscapes, whilst addressing our shared responsibility to protect, restore and sustain them.
