Not long now until we're back in full swing!

Our teams have been busy preparing for another exciting academic year. Just last week, we held a 'Brand Standards' event to welcome new colleagues and showcase what it means to be part of team IFG.

Thanks to everyone who supported and attended. It was fantastic to see everyone having such a great time. We look forward to seeing that energy in school kitchens and restaurants across the country over the coming days! Let's go! 🙌

Our colleagues at Budehaven Community School recently received brilliant feedback from the faculty team. It’s lovely to hear our food is bringing joy to teaching staff as well as students.

“I am writing to let you know how delicious my meal was at lunch today; it was restaurant quality. The chicken pasta dish with garlic bread was so tasty - and I heard many other staff commenting on how delicious it was. For dessert I had the apple and pear strudel with pouring cream - and that was to die for. I saw one of the teachers going back for a second portion it was so fantastic!

I have worked in many schools over the years and, believe me, teaching is not an easy job. If staff are treated to an excellent meal at lunch time, then I am sure they are happier and more successful in their afternoon lessons.”

Following some reflection and valuable stakeholder feedback, we decided the time was right to create a new identity which truly represented our team and approach to independent catering.
