2024….
On a personal note It’s been a rollercoaster of a year but business wise-WOW!
A huge Thank you to those who have asked me to cater for their life’s celebrations - happy and sad-christenings, birthdays from 5-90years young, hen do’s, family gatherings, weddings and wakes. Plus the ever increasing amount of business lunches, who knew there was such a gap in the market? I most certainly didn’t but I’m v happy to help. Also to the farmers and farming (and cycling)community who have supported our fortnightly pop up cafe at Pateley Auction Mart.
As always I couldn’t do it all alone! A massive Thank you to my amazing team of tea pourers, sandwich cutters, cake bakers and generally just wonderful folks who just crack on and help to
get the jobs done with a smile! Thank you!

The Lantern Parade is starting from the Auction Mart and weaving it’s way to the High Street on LATE NIGHT SHOPPING evening on Friday 6 December.
The Auction Mart Cafe will be open from 4:30pm if you would like to pop in and have you ‘tea’ before.

I am super excited to say we have a few spaces left on this community workshop. We have secured local funding to light up Pateley- with the help of Nidd high school we are running 2 workshops on Saturday the 30th! We will be making willow lanterns that will parade to the highstreet for late night opening 6th Dec (you must be available for 30 mins). We want to offer this to as many families as we can to try something new, work together as a team and then take part in a community event. All funded so come along and have fun. Traditional buffet for a lovely family celebrating their dear mum’s life. Today was another new venue; The Masonic Lodge, Pateley Bridge. The family chose the Lodge as it was a private venue with a bar and easy access.

On Saturday we look forward to hosting our Summer Social on the Putting Green for our holiday home owners.

We are delighted that will be providing a delicious buffet to enjoy of freshly cut sandwiches, homemade savoury pastries and Weatherhead’s famous pork pies! A selection of homemade cakes and tray bakes with Jane’s scrumptious cupcakes too!!

We will supply paper plates and napkins. Please feel free to bring your own glassware and beverages with your chairs and seating!

We look for to seeing you there 2pm on Saturday 🧁 🥂
