From the very beginning of planning this dreamy shoot, I knew exactly what I wanted the end result to reflect. A beautifully romantic elopement, portraying opulence and old romance, with a modern twist.
Eshott Hall was the perfect venue for my vision, and my amazing dream team of suppliers came together to produce such a beautiful reality. Genuinely lost for words at the results- what a privilege it was to produce this beautiful shoot.

Forget new years resolutions, we're all about new years revelations!✨
2020 has been one of the absolute toughest years for most businesses, particularly in the wedding industry. Not only this, but it's also been Blush & Blossom's first year in business. It definitely hasn't been the easiest year, but it certainly has been the year of discovery, self reflection, adaptation and growth. And we've loved every minute of it (well nearly, we've had our moments of crying and cursing Boris too😳😅)
We've discovered new venues, organised styled shoots, branched out into bespoke wedding stationery, focused more time on our blogs and website, became a teeeeny bit obsessed with our inflatable canoe during our free time (because there's only so much TV box sets you can go through🤣) and welcomed 13 couples into the Blush & Blossom family! To top it off, we did manage to have one 2020 wedding... my beautiful bride @xxmaddie95xx said "I (officially) do" in the year she planned to, with just their nearest and dearest there to see, while we're still planning her and her husband's dream wedding for August 2021!
Although I LOVE working in the studio, having giggles with @theenchantedfloristdurham all day, 2020 has forced me to work from home a lot more. So the lockdown creativity came out, and a gorgeous new home office was created. It became the most gorgeous, inspiring area to work in, and let's be honest... The best thing to come out of 2020 is being able to do your consultations in slippers, and your admin in PJ's, am I right?!🥰🤩
Although it has been a (very) unexpected start, I can very proudly say that my first year in business has not only been a success, but has completely exceeded my expectations. I've hit goals I didn't even think were possible, worked alongside some of my favourite suppliers and met the most wonderful couples who I'm going to make their dream wedding, their reality. I've learned so much this year... especially about myself! I'm determined,

This year, Blush & Blossom has been a virtual company- planning your weddings from our home! Granted, it's not every day we wear a full outfit and put makeup on (you can usually find me wrapped up in lounge wear and a messy bun), but our days are filled with zoom consultations, lots of cups of tea and a whole lot of typing! We've missed the real human contact, but our fur babies have kept us company!
It's been a difficult year and we've had to adapt to the current climate, but honestly? It's also been a major year of learning, diversifying and lots of giggles! We've all absolutely smashed 2020, and we should all be very proud of ourselves... bring on 2021!🤍✨

I've been bursting to share this amazing Behind The Scenes video by @abigailgracevideography from our fantastic shoot at @pepperardenhall ! As you can see, we all had so much fun on location; the day was full of laughs and smiles, and it was a pleasure to work with such a talented group of suppliers who made my vision of the shoot into a reality. The weather couldn't have been anymore British with torrential rainfall all day, but that didn't stop us, and the results were BREATHTAKING! A special thanks to @davidwestphotography for spending most of the afternoon lying on the waterlogged grass to get the perfect shots!😂 I hope this video makes you smile as much as me💕

Maddie & Stephen have been absolutely amazing throughout their wedding planning journey, and although we've had to postpone their day due to Covid-19, they've dealt with the whole process so well, along with every supplier involved, who have made the postponement process so seamless for my lovely couple.
Today their wedding day wasn't as planned, but we're working hard to ensure that they have the most breathtaking day next year, filled with lots of love, happiness and happy ever afters. Maddie & Stephen, you've been an absolute joy to work with, and it's been an absolute honour to be plan your special day, and getting to know you and your family so well.
